I understand you would like to start the Crossover Story, but it shows as completed.
You have to Reach settlement level 4 in order to start the Story. You can unlock the Fated Encounter quest by speaking to Edyt..
If you don't see the quest on the world map, you are still able to meet Sami in Kephallonia to start the crossover quest if you wish.

Should the issue still persists, please record a short video of the issue and send us a link, so we can investigate.

thank you for the screenshots provided and I understand you requested us to change the default confirmation button in game, however I am afraid this is not possible. You can only remap your controls if you are using a supported controller (DualSense Controller for PS5).

To customise your key bindings:

• Open the pause menu and select Settings.
• Select Customise controls from the Keyboard and mouse section of the Controls tab.
• Locate the key you would like to change, and select it.  
• To remap the control, press the key you would prefer to use, or press Escape to cancel.
