Thanks for getting back in touch.

We cannot discuss another player's support case history for privacy purposes - perhaps they can share more information if they wish, however the investigation is still open so we wouldn't have expected this to have been resolved via other means.

We do not have any access to a player's game files as we are not members of the development team, as such, this is not something we would be able to resolve via a case, this will be a matter of awaiting a fix from the game team.

We have had clan issues resolved by the team in the recent past, so it's likely a case that a fix was implemented to the game while your friend had a case open as that is also something we as Ubisoft Support have no direct influence over.

Does this issue still occur after verifying the game and repairing EAC?

If so - could you please try reinstalling the game?

Perhaps to the same drive as Ubisoft Connect if this isn't the case already.

Hey there guys,

An update from the team.

They've taken a look and found that Hunters will enter cover, but cannot damage you unless you're out of cover too, without a shield in front of you or in a plain open field.

So they can look into this further, they've requested further information;

  • Does this still occur on Countdown Mode?
  • What difficulty are you playing? Does this happen with any / all difficulties?
  • Were you in a party or solo in Countdown?
  • When did the affected Hunter appear? While transitioning between encounters or during extraction?
  • Do you have a stable connection when playing?


Any videos would also be appreciated.
