This a design choice by the team so as not to obscure the player's view during interactions.

We have had to hide some weapons, mostly weapons that are on the hip and right shoulders for the animations and cameras to have no obstructions.

May we please know what output device(s) you've tested with (headsets / speakers)?

Please also ensure that;

  • Your current device is set as the Default in Windows Sound Settings
  • In the Volume Mixer (right click sound icon), Assassin's Creed: Valhalla hasn't had it's levels brought down
  • Your Windows OS is up to date

Could you please try deleting the config file before restarting the game?

You can find the config file by going to Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\ACValhalla.ini

Please delete this file then relaunch the game as an admin before amending some keybinds and relaunch the game (as an admin each time) to see if these settings save.
