Hey @simplepedant , thanks for your feedback about this. I understand you'd like to have been able to quit out of a game of Anno 1800 without saving, and I've passed your feedback about this to our teams.

In the meantime, while I understand it's a bit laborious, quitting out of the game by closing it from your task manager would not create a save file. However, please note that doing this in a game which already has a save file may result in a corrupted save, so it should only be used in games that you wish to abandon entirely.

I understand you've found instances of untranslated and poorly formatted text, missing legendaries, missing quests, and the Charcoal Kiln requirements changing - that all sounds most frustrating, and I'd like to highlight these issues to our teams to look into internally.

In the case of the missing legendaries and untranslated texts, I'd like to ask you for some screenshots of these. I understand they may be numerous, so just one or two screenshots of each issue would be fine - just so our teams know what they are searching for. As you'll know, Anno 1800 is a big game, so being able to be precise about where an issue is found is very helpful.

Hey, folks! Thanks for all these reports of getting stuck in the air lock between sub-zones. I'm sorry to hear you've all faced this issue - that sounds very frustrating, given that you are left with no choice but to abandon the mission and are left with an MIA operator!

I can confirm that our teams are currently investigating this, and all the reports here in the forum thread have been shared with them.

If you face this issue, please answer the questions below, so we can add your report to our investigation.

  1. Which map did this happen on?
  2. What difficulty were you on? Moderate, Cautious, Severe, or Critical?
  3. What were the objectives in the subzones prior and after? These can be seen on the map.
  4. Were you playing solo or in a squad?
  5. How long did you wait to see if the door opened?
