You edited your actual world file, So making new saves on the same world won't do anything.

The only solution would be to delete the existing version from this location:
"C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\GeneratedWorlds"

And then remember exactly what settings you used when you generated that world originally so you can re-generate it.

TFP unfortunately have no choice but to repackage the game for a console rerelease.

The publisher of the existing console version officially released the game and then went bankrupt, and both the Sony and Microsoft console store policies prohibit updates to games that would invalidate existing save files. Problem is, Every single major version between where the existing console version is and where the PC version is breaks save compatibility- Console is roughly at an equivalent of Alpha 15 with some Alpha 16 features, and PC is at Alpha 20 about to go on Alpha 21.

So it's just not possible to update the existing console version to the standard of the PC version. Rerelease is the only real option to get a console version in line with the PC version.

As to when it will come, there isn't a hard timeline. But the devs have stated they would like to get the console rerelease done in tandem with releasing A22 in the future.

You can find additional... Read more

Until multiple saves just ate 30GB of your precious C drive space.

There is no autosave. It's constantly reading and writing data to the files as it happens.

Please, there is already an active thread or two asking this same thing, and a new one arrives every week or so. Please read before posting, and avoid cluttering the forum.

They are working on them. If you watch the latest developer stream you will see a few of the new player character models.

If a player is not online and within about 50-100~ meters of other players, it has zero effect on other players' blood moon.

The game only checks who is Online, and who is Near eachother. Players in the same area get a ramped up blood moon to account for there being multiple players, but again, only if they're Online.

Next Alpha should make pig meat needed for bacon and eggs like it used to.

Each animal had their specific recipes.

Having meat in your backpack should attract zombies like crazy. Like it used to.

I understand the streamlining the devs are attempting, but there's a few mechanics that were already perfect.

To me this says if my byddy the looter is speced into snipers and spears and he loots a crate, he will be MORE likely to get crafting books and parts for spears and snipers and LESS likely to parts and crafting books for shotguns....

Which is EXACTLY what I said. It seems like in order to raise my chances of getting MY things I have to be the one to open the container.

I build different bases for different builds. I got rekt on day 7 relying on my walls to keep them out until morning, I couldn't believe how fast they got in without me killing them non stop like usual. But to me getting rekt gives me motivation to try harder so I added a melee room up front this time and a few doors they will have to get through this time (in theory).

We will support dyes on the new outfit. All POIs including REKT got updated because there is now full art support to decorate them as envisioned in the concepts.

Per the EA agreement that you agreed to prior to making your purchase, you are not entitled to anything. Might want to take a refresher.

Moderator note. Keep the discussion civil. These threads have a tendency to get shut down because you do not.

On-topic, what exactly makes it unfair?
Like is it unfair that a game is revealed at a conference with video showing gameplay, but you still can't buy it for another year or two because of production delays?

This is even less offensive than that. Streamers get access less than three days before everyone else. The purpose is to build excitement for the release of experimental.

And let's be clear here. It isn't even a stable build. It's a buggy experimental build.

Horde night scales on gamestage and party size. If you're a veteran player from before, the first horde night or two will probably feel a little lackluster without tweaking settings; After that it can get pretty difficult.

A group of 20 zombies spawning behind you would be a wandering horde. Wandering hordes still exist- They just don't pinpoint track you, instead when they spawn they're given a random deviation of up to roughly 20-30 degrees to either side of your location at the time of their appearance, and then wander straight in that direction- If you happen to intersect with their chosen path they'll attack you, else they'll wander past and probably damage some buildings before they get out of range and despawn. (and the size of wandering hordes is also gamestage dependent)

Another rather impactful thing is that...well, You've just gotten better at games in general over the years since. What used to feel difficult just doesn't anymore; And you'll have to a... Read more
