As far as my personal knowledge goes, The devs have never had any particular intent to enhance PVP in the game. Quite the opposite, they previously expressed that extending the 'friendly fire' functionality out into being able to do strangers and whatnot so PVP was even possible was basically the extent of what they were interested in providing in the way of PVP.

Whether that stance has changed since, or may change hence, Iuno. But that's what I know- PVP enhancement is unlikely to happen by the developers' hands- Any such enhancements are going to come from modders interested in enhancing PVP for PVPers.

While the idea may have merit, I wouldn't call it a perfect solution since some people are on compact keyboards (or worse, controllers) that don't have those keys. I've encountered other games, for example, that are basically unplayable on a laptop just because they assume you have a number pad.

We didn't always have previous rotation or copy rotation functions, nor the simple/advanced/on face rotation modes, though. Since we got all that, the rotation system hasn't bothered me as I've built complex bases and tier 5 POIs. But to each their own.

Alright so there's no current way of editting values like those without going harder on modding? I thought about a more accessible game editor or something. I never felt the need of editting anything out of the vanilla setup, that would be a first.
It's likely to be in xml to some e... Read more

Don't drive like a maniac and you'll probably not need to repair half as much as you're thinking you will. Also the vehicle shown is a bicycle; I'd wager higher tier vehicles have more HP and lose less % durability for any given collision.

Yes. Wasteland is death. You should only be going there if you are well prepared.

Don't waste any more time on it.

its really surprising and shocking, how a game can be made bad and worse. did the community want this changes, or were it the devs?

The wolves with the glowy eyes? I think most players are okay with them being in the game. This is the first real complaint I’ve heard about them since….2021. ;-)

Uh-huh…you played a bit in 2013 before it even came to Steam or for the few weeks in December when it did come to Steam and then not once again until 2021 and remembered enough to know everything that was supposedly removed that you loved so much? Loved so much that you never picked up the game to play even once in 8 years?

Let me guess…your favorite part was the Minecraftish blocky world around you and you hated that they removed the necessity of always playing Navesgane by adding infinite random maps…

I dunno, Jost.. Do we really want more users thinking you're a developer? :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

There are more climbable ropes in A21. The POI designers have made more use of them. I don't know about chains.

5805 per steam, plus 1500 or so hours offline testing. Not sure how many hours I racked up on the console version.

I've been advocating for this on the official forums for some time now.

I think they'll do something about it when they finally take a second pass at the sound system and how zombies react to sound, hopefully.
Oh there's a few issues for sure. For example, wakeful zombies don't give a single flying F about vertical distance last I checked- You could be halfway up dishong tower and attract a zombie at the ground floor, as long as it's been spawned.

But, The difference between a waking zombie and a sleeper is not a bug. Weasel's statement here,

The “feral sense” setting is directly tied to this. If you prefer it be harder for zombies to detect you, then make sure feral sense is off.

It's not buggy. It's triggered differently. Sleeper zombies in a POI are 'asleep', They're not active and wandering around searching for living beings. The threshold to wake them is different from the waking and wandering zombies outside the building.

I imagine you sleep through a cop siren or other loud noise quite often without ever knowing it, but when you're awake, chances are such noises will catch enough of your attention to wonder what is going on, yeah? ... Read more

does that include melee weapons or just guns?
If it makes a sound, it can attract zombies. Melee weapons, guns, bows, even just walking around, even sneaking around- It all makes noise to some degree or another. Obviously, a shotgun is going to be much louder than a knife in the dark; But it's still noise in... Read more
