I just crouch so they don't hear me mining and I'm fine. Every once in a while you get some jerks visiting, but once you get deep enough down it's fine. I usually ignore them anyway and clear the lot of them when I come up at sunrise.

You cannot allocate memory in XML so there is a limit to the stack size that is hard coded. We are not responsible for save game corruption once you start modding lol.

That's not a bug, you are modding beyond the hard coded limit.

Yes A21 will feature a trader stage, where players will see buckets of inventory based on their stage. This will help control progression which is key to long term fun.

The LBD guys take any scrap of information and twist it into LBD lol. LBD is not coming back, but rather a crafting skill per item not associated with the perks like now.

Thanks! I always had long hair then got a mullet, hated it and went with a crew cut/fade for 23 years. Then the barbers closed and I started getting some locks back and remembered who I am lol. No turning back now.

Nothing is finalized, but we're talking about a crafting skill for every item in the game. Associated books and schematics might add to it when read, and probably the introduction of "technical journals" or something you find and read to add to the skill. Higher intellect might give you +2 or something instead of +1. Something we can control in loot so players don't get too powerful too soon, (No spam crafting) and skill system to where its easier to craft a blue stone axe than a blue steel axe.

We're not. It's more like learn by looting lol.

No because you can put a land claim down, place your work benches use them, then pick them back up again. Still easy to be a nomad. With vehicles and drones to carry loot around I don't see a problem taking workbenches with you everywhere and setting up quick/temp anywhere.

If someone is burnt out on 7DTD after who knows how many hours then A20 will not magically fix that.

There are no radical changes in gameplay.

Cities have a boosted stage multiplier, and the POI's have spawns according to that POI's tier around them. Add in feral sense, and you've got yourself a real challenge. Cities aren't the cake walks they used to be.

Most of this is covered in the patch notes.

Note though that the default setting has also changed from 30 to 7.

7 days to loot respawn, geez. That is the most WHAT change I've heard in this game ever. Thats so fast I don't see why you'd need to leave your starting town lol. As someone that normally has loot ...

Originally posted by Dark: Like take how sleepers respawn in 3 or 4 days or something, Its not hard, its just stressful.

Because if your using it as a second home/horde base, you gotta clear it out every week (Maybe twice a week). If you build a lot of walls, the sleepers can respawn inside the walls/floors.

Why do they respawn so fast? Dunno. The loot is already gone and its respawn is 30 days default. If you get a quest there everything will respawn.

Many of the respawns will be in already busted open hiding spots too. So... yeah....

Or say you want to be smart and lure a sleeper away, then grab the loot. They will teleport back, right in front of you, being immersion breaking. Which okay...on default, ea...

It's supposed to be a challenging survival game. If you can "just chill", then the game isn't doing it's job.

Right now the update is chock full of bugs. I would advise that you keep playing a19 until at least a couple more unstable patches have been rolled out.

Do take time to review the changes though. There are a number of them. Largest ever.

There's no way for the game to tell what blocks are placed by you or were pre-existing- It can for entities(Forge/Workbench/etc), because they have additional information.. But not for blocks.

So giving the player a damage boost to blocks in their claimed area would mean players just carry stone around to craft and place landclaims at any particular building they feel like demolishing, or mining area they want to dig through. Even if you made it not work on natural material, just the fact that it could be used to break down POI's would be an issue.

You can narrow it down a lot by selecting shape categories, but I do agree that a way to mark favorites and filter by them would be very useful.

They are OP. We'll nerf/gate them a bit more.
