Lol. Yous guys crack me up. Exactly 3 months from the day i said that would be really low odds. That leaves us with a 99.5% chance it is more or less than 3 months.

Well, I was counting since adulthood.

Are you sure your display, GPU, and/or drivers support the resolution you’re attempting?

The only canids in this game are coyotes, zombie dogs, wolves, and dire wolves. I’m not sure offhand which are removed when zombies are turned off. Sometimes you’ll draw the attention of an animal that spawned in a different, nearby biome.

Any zombie can drop a loot backpack, but tougher zombies have a higher chance of doing so.

Also, note that time only passes when someone is on the server. So if all players agree on when to play, you needn’t turn the server off.

Unless you set the BM's to be random :) Since that is now an option as well.
Haha, true; But, even then, it's random from day; Where X is whatever day your last horde was. So you could still end up logging in to a horde instead of logging in and maybe having a day or a week to prepare still. :P

Originally posted by .♥~*°("_")°*~♥.: Well i just see one streamer what this do & it's true it's depend about viewers but I think it's a little cheat xD Viewers just spawn help-loot & the guys got ammo/weapon/cure/food in "infinity"... & so was to much easy so I spawn zombie to kill him :)))
And that is exaaaaaactly why it's fun. :P It's a bit cheaty, because the viewers can throw boons to the streamer- But there will Always be someone or some group of people in the stream who thinks it's getting too easy, and strives to make it hard to compensate.

So yes, they get lots of free loot- But they also have debuffs thrown at them, and bears spawned right beside them.

Day used to matter a long time ago; The game got harder every 7 days whether you were prepared for it or not. But since gamestage was introduced this is no longer the case.

Day doesn't matter as far as difficulty is concerned- Gamestage is determined by Character Level and Days Survived; And the 'Days survived' value only counts up when you are online.

Aside from difficulty, Day also determines your Blood Moon horde night; If you have the horde night set for every 7 days, then every 7th day will be a blood moon- 7, 14, 21, 28, and so on. This day is consistent whether players have been online or not- So if you log off on day 8, and log in on day 14 at 20:00, you'll be 2 ingame hours till a massive horde comes storming your way.

So, For difficulty, not important; For horde night, kindof important.

Could you be more specific about the perceived differences?

I like the idea of light armor a lot. I like to play stealthily, and I don’t like the idea of being slowed down. But in practice, the advantages seem not so great. For one thing, zombies in general and sleeper zombies in particular are so hard of hearing, that you can stomp around at 100% noise level all the time, and you still only alert one or two zombies at a time. In most places, there is no ‘go in guns blazing’ even if you try.

Secondly, you can’t use stealth on horde night, which for the way I play is the biggest challenge the game presents. So investing a lot in light armor seems like a waste. I’ve taken to putting on heavy armor for horde night, whether I’m specced for it or not. Since I’m not one to dive into a Blood Moon horde and duke it out, armor is mostly a ‘just in case’ thing on horde night, good for mitigating the odd cop spit, spider, or vulture that gets through.

Can't there just be a system implemented where the player can actually sleep and speed up time? I know how the noise system works, but if you aren't making any noise, it's unlikely the zombies are going to find you. If they do, the game should wake you up. Crazy idea, I know... but if a zombie gets in proximity of you and bangs a door you shouldn't be able to sleep.

Sorry, I've just gone by many an in-game night while n...

This is not a feature that is likely to ever make it into the vanilla game.

One of the biggest points in 7DTD is Time Management; Using your time wisely so that your eventual horde night is tackleable instead of overwhelming.

Sitting around for 6-8 ingame hours is not good time management. Yes, Even in the early days, Yes, Even day 1, night 1. There is always something you could be doing, but are choosing not to.

You could be mining; Keep a close ear out and you can mine all night long. Yeah, you won't get much with a stone axe, but it's a lot more material and exp than you would get from just sitting there.

You could be building, Placing and upgrading frames doesn't really make sound.

You could be planning. You could be crafting. You could be carefully exploring in stealth. You could be doing a lot of things.

Your day time should not really be used for doing anything that could be done at night instead; I... Read more

Have a new type of helicopter with this mobility and it could also be used to carry things like other players.
Doesn't really fit the theme of the game, though I do wish for a 2-seat gyro.
