Yes, they do work like bedrolls. Have you not tried that?

It mostly depends on what channels you're listening to. For instance, the latest word from a developer I'm aware of was less than an hour ago, on the official forum at 7daystodie.com.

There was a time when this was cheesy, because the AI pathing was lacking and zombies had nothing productive to do in this situation. But now they should attack the blocks holding up your second floor. Like others are saying, withstanding a horde doesn't necessarily mean your base is cheesy. Withstanding every horde with no effort is a different matter, in this player's opinion.

"Awake" zombies are more attentive and can hear you at much longer ranges than sleepers.

An unsuppressed rifle can get you a lot of attention.

Note there was at least one other theme song before the current one. I don’t have a link handy, though.

hmmm well this one seems to be taking longer than any ive ever known....

I get the point of how LBD fails. But I have a couple dozen hours in Valheim and it seems to work fine. As long as it is used in the spirit of the simulation.
Valheim does all the good parts of LBD, and none of the bad. LBD works great for weapons, and for actions that the player is inherently intended to go do, such as mining or chopping. Even Blocking fits this category as bl... Read more

1 Increases the normal and turbo speed caps, so it lets you move faster.

2 No plans, but it could be done by increasing wheel torque, but don't think I'm changing that for a20.

It will add more seats to a vehicle. The 4x4 is the one I will be doing first. The others will depend on how much time I have and if they look ok bolting a person on and if not, then will need model changes, which means artists and more time.

A big note here is to consider how much Ram and vRam you have; If you have 16 gigs or less, and have your pagefile turned off, that could easily be a culprit of a memory crash. 7DTD uses a LOT of ram when loading up and serving the gameworld; Especially if any of the graphical content gets shunted to the main ram.

What are your PC specs? Bare minimum need your Ram total, and Video Card and it's vRam capacity; But more info would be helpful.

Also your video settings ingame.

As an example, If you have a card with 4gb vram, but play with Textures on Full, then the 4gb will be filled instantly AND 4gb more will spill over into normal Ram, as full textures takes 8gb; And thats before any other graphical settings and their own vRam requirements are considered. It's very easy to make that kind of mistake and have the game calling for 10+gb of normal ram. And if you have such a thing going on, and as mentioned above, have your pagefile disabled for some re... Read more

Sure. I know exactly nothing about what they have planned.

I recommend to avoid Survival Servers at all costs.

Unless you like horrendous server lag because it doesn't have enough hardware resources to operate properly.

Our group self-hosts though. Once we weighed the costs, it was about the same as 8 months worth of hosting for a single server, to get our own server hardware. With hosting 4 servers at the time, it paid itself off really quickly. Later we took the savings and got a second, and now are hosting 19 servers for 7 different games.

If you've got a halfway decent internet connection, and can afford the initial investment, it's totally the way to go.

No visual changes other than the cosmetic mods (dyes) tint parts of the vehicle. The headlight mod does make more light.

Some of them.

Storage changes are not trivial. Maybe after a20.

The mods I listed are all a20 will probably have. I spent today getting them enabled, icons set, tags set, slot counts set, fuel tank working and fixed a UI bug. Bicycle has 2 slots and it goes up from there for the other vehicles, but none of the 5 will probably be enabled for the bicycle anyway. The seat mod needs code still.

Yes, it will break the game.

Please, post the results of doing this, I am curious if it will "break" the game.
I mean, Wood can be acquired, albeit in a semi-limited fashion from scrapping chairs and chopping wooden blocks and such; And wood piles in certain POI's.

Removing the grass however makes some pretty significant changes to progression. Without grass fiber you can't make your starter tools like the Stone Axe; Can't make a bow, Can't make a bedroll, can't do a few other things either. You'd potentially be doing everything with your fists for a very long time.

For a refund, ask the store where you bought the game - just like with every other product.
