Right, the muffler thing. I had kinda forgotten about that one.

Definitely a LOT more streamer-friendly than vanilla.

Cheat option 'on' literally just auto-toggles Creative Mode on. That's it. It saves you from hitting F1, typing cm and hitting enter. All the commands are accessible whether cheat mode is on or not.

And the point is you ideally aren't meant to be using buggy features; It's in ther...

You opt into and use features from developer/debug mode at your own peril.

And there is a difference between developer mode and cheat option on. They remove abiltiy to gain achievements and collect rewards in exchange for buggy feature which you said isn't fully functional

Not only the alpha was broken, removed jars, now you got to disable achievements to enable 3rd person. Hypocrisy

That could just be plain ol desync. Yes, Even in singleplayer. SP is basically run on an internal MP server set to solo, and it's possible, if unusual, for desync to happen.

I disagree on a POTENTLY deep level. I miss like 90% of my shots on chickens with bows- And I'm a very good shot, and don't experience the magical zombie dodges the way everyone else seems to, and end up getting annoyed at wasting so many arrows and just run up and clock the little buggers with whatever melee weapon I have handy.

No they aren't limited, yes they spawn 'next' to you; But 'next' to you should be out of your visual line of sight.

No there is no mod for a map limit, But the game has respawn volumes that once emptied will stop spawning in zombies in the area after awhile- Which is similar to what you're asking for. IE, Once you've cleared the area around your base a few times, you'll generally stop seeing zombies in the area- You'll just get one or two every once in awhile unless you generate too much activity.

From what I understand, that isn't likely. It would introduce the ability to lockpick landclaimed doors as well.

Zombies actually don't recognize spike traps in the slightest. As far as the AI is concerned, spikes are just blocks. Everything is just blocks. They don't make any change to their pathing decisions because there are or aren't spikes; Or any other trap for that matter.

i do not know how to feel about the weapon system of old being switched out to what it is now. it was kinda cool how you could combine parts to make guns and vehicles and the quality of the items determined the quality of your result.
it was a nice atrophy-through-use system.

the world itself, poi's and visual improvements of this are second to none in this update tho. aswell as the ability of all of this enabled by the super advanced/deep block system they implemented in an earlier update. it is straight up gold.

Personally, I've enjoyed every alpha more than the last. Not the case for everyone though. I've played pretty much every alpha since Alpha 1, some more than others due to irl constraints.

Definitely doesn't sound right. Are you sure you didn't just complete a trade route quest at the second trader? Or a tier completion reward at the original?

So I checked the xml.

A20 cntBusSchool

A20 cntArmyTruckOpen

A20 decoCarMotorFlat

Keep in mind that there are some sub-vehicles that also get the data pulled from the master. Like the Army Truck Closed just references the same rate that is in Truck Open.

Now let's look at a21...

What difficulty are you playing on? Are you wearing any armor? Are you making an active effort to dodge incoming hits, or are you just face tanking? Are you in Multiplayer or Singleplayer?

Lots of possible causes or reasons. I personally haven't experienced it, but a few people have brought it up in the last week or two.

I've seen people do this in minecraft, build something then copy and paste it elsewhere in the world.
If it would be possible to do the same thing but have it so that your favourite builds could be easily ported into new versions of the game despite the requirement of needing to start a new game, that would honestly be amazing.

Wouldn't just need to be used for preserving your base either so you could "continue" where you left o...
