I'm glad to hear that you were able to resolve this issue by changing your graphics settings to high!

For anyone else experiencing this issue, please give this workaround a try, as we've seen it be successful for several players. Thanks so much, zeleznastraka and daigend, for those well explained workarounds! I've shared them with the team!

For anyone who still experiences this issue after trying the above workarounds, please let me know the following:
-Are you running the game in fullscreen, windowed, or windowed borderless?
-Are you are experiencing an inability to change your resolution settings?
-Please take a screenshot of how the game outputs to your monitor, and send the link here. You will need to upload the image to an image-hosting website, such as Imgur or Flikr.

Hey there xrayspex_73, n3mur1t0r, and Animator_Alex! Thanks for reporting this issue with Hybrid mode affecting sound. I will certainly pass this information onto the dev team to check into! Please let me know answers to the following questions:

  • What is your audio set-up (external speakers, wireless headset, wired headset)?
  • Do you ever have issues with your sound going through your controller instead (like with other games, for example)? If so, when the sound cuts out, can you see if the audio setting has changed to your controller for that moment?
  • Does the audio stay missing until you start using the controller again? Or it's just a very momentarily loss of sound?
  • Is it all audio that goes missing, or certain sounds like ambience or background music?

Hey DSD27,

In order to support Ubisoft+ some games will include an additional .exe file. This will come as a patch for games that you already have installed and be included as part of the download package for new installations, however it will only be used to launch games you have through Ubisoft+. If you do not have a Ubisoft+ subscription, you will not use this.

As a heads-up, these forums for Assassin's Creed Valhalla have been discontinued. You can find and post on our new Player Support forums for the game here if needing further assistance in the future.

I checked your account and can see that your order has now been delivered to your account, including the preorder bonus. If you sign out of Ubisoft Connect and back in, you should see the game in there ready for you (if you didn't already start to play!).

I would reinstall the game fully as directed by Epic Games, and only launch the game up once the full installation process is complete. Please make sure as well that you have added administrator rights to Ubisoft Connect / the Epic Games Launcher to make sure there are no issues with writing the content to your HDD or SSD.

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear this! As these dailies/weeklies are pushed to the game, please ensure you are connected to our services. Also, the Thousand Eyes have NPCs in other towns - I wonder, if you interact with one of these are you able to pick up the quests, or is the same as with Reda?

I will get this forwarded to the developers. Could you provide a video showing that you are unable to interact with them?

You should be able to select any of them - with different outcomes depending on who. Please try reloading a slightly earlier save, and fast travelling out and then back into your settlement and test again. Let us know if the issue persists!
