Got it, thanks! I did notice that Asus Armoury Crate also appears to be crashing quite a bit in the DxDiag you attached as well. I know in some cases Easy Anti-Cheat can actually have issues with software like this. Have you tried disabling it or removing this particular software to test and see if that makes any difference at all?

I know there are some limitations that can prevent accounts from being unlinked. It sounds like that's most likely what was happening in this case.

Have you checked to see if there might be any updates available for Radeon Wattman? I'm wondering if there might be something in the software that's causing the graphics driver to crash.

Have you tried starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference at all? If there's anything else running that could be leading to these crashes that could help to get around it.

I'm afraid there's no cross-platform progression for Apex Legends. Your progress on the Xbox account wouldn't transfer over to the PC. You would be playing a separate account if you log into the game on Steam.

I think opening a case with EA Help would be a good idea. If someone else was able to log into your friend's account the EA Help team should be able to help him secure it.
