Hey procyberbully, thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the issue you ran into there.

Test Server for Rainbow 6 Siege is live and you should be able to access it, therefore can I just double-check whether you're attempting to launch it via Ubisoft Connect or Steam launcher? Depending which one you've used, I would try launching it from the other platform and see whether it works.

Should issue persist however, let us know and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Hey T_The-Outsider, thanks for the update there and sorry to hear about the issue you've been having.

So just to clarify - it's only something that occurs for the first game and then is gone afterwards, is that right? If so, did you have a chance to lookup your in-game settings (during first game) to see what is it set as and whether it's automatically changed or whether it's still 'Push to Talk'?

In the meantime, if you haven't already, try verifying your game files and see whether problem reoccurs.

Hey lyu_grunge69, thanks for reaching out and providing an insightful information on the matter.

As it stands, you will be automatically directed to the server that has the best possible connection for you and in certain instances it can result in being placed on a different server. If however you are experiencing connectivity issues whilst connecting to a particular one then there might possibly be an issue somewhere.

So just to make sure if I understand this correctly - in certain instances, you will be attempting to connect to the game however if you end up being placed on let's say any other server than East Japan, you will end up receiving error 3-0x00050001, is that right?

Additionally, have you had a chance to go through steps mentioned by Ubi-Wan?

Thanks for your response there lightningcat22 and I'm sorry to hear you wish to move on.

We'd be more than happy to look into the matter further as I am fairly positive there are things you can do in order to prevent this from happening, for example if you were to be in a position to change your IP, ISP should be able to assist you with it.

If you do end up changing your mind and would like to see what can be done, I'd like to ask you to advise us the following:

1. When DDoS happens, what is the error message you receive as you attempt to reconnect?
2. Does issue only affect connection to Rainbow 6 Siege servers at the time or are you completely unable to access internet at the time?

In the meantime, I can assure you that our development team is looking at ways to tackle this issue and as soon as we will have any further information, details will be posted here, in our official forums, so keep an eye.

Hey Frozenkiredith, thanks for reaching out and welcome to forums!

If you have a physical copy of the game and as you put in the disc into the console, it does not trigger the game or if it doesn't allow it to launch, this will indicate that there's most certainly an issue with the disc.

In this particular instance, I would recommend to see whether you can possibly clean it to make it operational. If not, I am afraid that you may have to get a replacement or consider buying digital copy to be able to access the game again.

As a follow up to previous Ubi-Raziel's request, would it be possible for you to provide us with your specs?

Additionally, may I also double-check the following:

1. I can see you've stated that issue occurs when you're looking at a certain direction - could you advise us if this happens in every single game you play? Also, is it possibly the case where the game works fine for some time however eventually it leads to these graphic distortions?
2. Are you using Vulkan or DX API? Depending on the one you use, have you tried playing with another one to see if issue persists?
3. Have you tried tweaking your video settings in-game to lower ones, just to see if that makes any difference?

If you already own Ubisoft Connect version of the game and decide to buy other version of it on Epic Games Store, there is a possibility you may run into compatibility issues, which will result in certain content not being visible. For more information about this, have a look at the following article.

As far as progression goes, it ls linked to your account so you should be fine to proceed from where you've left.
