Hi Vikings!

The development team have confirmed that this issue should now be resolved.

If you are still experiencing foliage, grass, tents or ropes disappearing in-game on the latest update (1.6.0) then please let us know in this thread. When sharing a new report, please can you provide us with the a video which shows the following:

  • That you have the latest update installed. This can be seen on the main menu screen before you load your save.
  • Demonstrating the issue of foliage, grass, tents or ropes disappearing in-game
  • The location on the map where you experienced the issue


I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread. 

Can you also ensure that your latest save is uploaded to the cloud. If you are unsure how to do this there is a support article that you can check ...

Hi @tvaigr I can confirm that this is working as intended.

It seems that Sony changed the X and O buttons on the PS5 in Japan meaning it is now the same as other countries. I'm afraid the only workaround for this is to manually change the controls in your consoles accessibility options.

I am also sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue when playing The Forgotten Saga.

When you die you should go back to the camp. Can you confirm if you were able to resolve the issue or did you have to restart the game? If you had to restart the game have you experienced this issue again since?

Hi @Crazybone992 apologies for the late response.

I am also sorry to hear that you have experienced issues when blending with the monks in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

I do understand that this game mechanic does not work as well as it did in previous Assassin's Creed games as you have to control Eivor manually where as in older games it would do it automatically.

I will forward your feedback on to the development team.

I'm also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the two trophies that you mentioned.

I can confirm that a couple of players have reported an issue with the 'Orlog Champion' trophy not unlocking and this is being investigated.

With regards to the other trophy 'Is There Anybody Out There'. There was an issue previously where this trophy would unlock in Norway when infact it should be unlocked for lighting the extinguished braziers on the Hadrian Wall. This issue was resolved.

I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues completing the world event 'Last Flight of the Gyldan Sparrow'.

I can confirm that this issue has been marked as resolved in May 2021 and we have not received any contacts since then. Also the issues related to this world event were different to the issue that you are experiencing. The issues reported previously were that the Norse woman could not be interacted with and that the world event did not complete after speaking to her.

Could please confirm the following:

  • Which armour you had equipped?
  • Which weapons you had equipped and what there quality there were?
  • Which abilities you had equipped?
  • Which runes you had equipped?
  • Did you use the summon wolf ally favour?


I understand that you may not remember any of these. The main ones we would like to know are which weapons you were using, but if you can provide as much information as possible...

Hi @SpirantCrayon22 I have checked this myself and can confirm Everold does not sell any platinum ingots. I have reported this to the development team to investigate.
