Hi @razor8674 I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues accessing your save data.

To confirm you installed an update for the game and then when you launched the game all of your save data is missing is that correct? And you are now receiving an online service error.

Can you confirm the following:

  • When you last had access to your save data
  • Which platform you play the game on? Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S or both?
  • When does the error message appear?


Could you also provide screenshots of the main menu screen and the error message.

Hi @ackros_22sas I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues accessing the 'Wrath of The Druids' and 'Siege of Paris' expansions.

I can see that the objective is missing for 'Wrath of The Druids' and Azar is not at the docks, can you also confirm if Toka and Pierre can be seen in Ravensthorpe or if they are missing?

Could you also provide a screenshot to show the Francia quest objective is missing and to show that the DLC's are installed.

Hi @rapro_player could you please confirm which Assassin's Creed game you are referring to, is it Assassin's Creed Valhalla? If so the free weekend trial was only available between February 24th until February 28th as mentioned by The Norfolkian.

If it is Assassin's Creed Valhalla and you are not referring to the free weekend trial then could you please confirm how you acquired the game for free? Was it in relation to a promotion?

I am unsure why the resolution is too high. I would recommend deleting the config file which can be found in the following folder: C:\Users\\Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\ACValhalla.ini

Could you please confirm if reinstalling the game has resolved the issue?

If not can you provide a video demonstrating the issue. In the video can you go into your screen and graphics settings to show what settings you have configured and then go into the game and show some examples of what you are experiencing.

Can you also confirm your PC specifications.

I was aware that more storage is required for updates, I was just unsure how much extra storage was needed.

I have played on PS4 myself for years and encountered the same issue with various games. In my case I decided to purchase an external hard drive for the extra storage to save me uninstalling my other games that I was still playing.
