Hi Cosdor, just a quick update, I have tested my self and looked further into the issue for you.

It turns out that at the moment the issue is with the Ubisoft Connect launcher that runs in the background. Even though Steam will recognize your DS4 controller, it will not work in the game as Ubisoft Connect does not work with DS4 or DS5 controllers either bluetooth connected or wirelessly connected. The only controller it officially supports with the launcher is the Microsoft Xbox 360/One/XSX controllers. Because Microsoft owns Xbox and Windows, the drivers are more compatible and regularly updated with Windows updates and through the Xbox Accessories controller app in the Windows Store.

Unfortunately Ican not guarantee if their are any plans to enable official dualshock support fully with Ubisoft Connect, this is why your controller wont work in game even though you you purchased it from Steam. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news in this instance Cosdor... Read more

I would like to bring these reports to the attention of our QA team and as players are experiencing various issues, I am trying to keep track of each report in the same place going forward, if you could take the time to answer the 5 short questions in the thread this should prove very helpful to us to try and replicate ourselves. Hello Broken.Kinas, thanks for contacting us about your mic issues.

Would you be able to send us the link to the support article you used so I know exactly what troubleshooting you have tried?

I have various fixes you can try but I will start by suggesting the following -

- Try toggling your settings between open mic and push to talk and testing this option - Go to 'Options' in the game and go to 'Voice Chat Record Mode', then change 'Push To Talk' to 'Open'
- Try running the game in Borderless Window mode
- Have you recently updated your audio devices drivers?
- Have you checked what microphone the game is trying to use? Do you have a camera with a microphone that the game maybe using by mistake?
- Are you running any software in the background? Please disable all non-Microsoft programs except for you game and launcher through Task Manager. Please check your taskbar on the far right, to see if any programs are running also... Read more

Hello Evolution-Prank, welcome to the forums and sorry to see you encountered players like this who were cheating

If this happens to you again, please make sure to use the 'Report a Player' function in the game.

This will tell us what the time and date of the game, the players name and location, which gives us all the information we need to locate these players and review the evidence.

This can lead to a temporary ban and with repeated reports like this from other players, can lead to a permanent ban too on that players account.

Hi Lewie B I ReQ, thanks for attempting to record a video. If you are unable to provide one yourself, are you able to link to one on a video sharing website of the exact same issue you are having?

Do you notice this on any particular map modes or game modes? We have recently had more audio issue reports come in after the update but we need to be able to view some more footage and clearly separate the different issues.

So far I have heard players have either no audio, cutting out at random intervals or misplaced audio such as what you are having and I believe similar to what FiftyStorm2 has experienced though please correct me if I am wrong.

The QA team are aware of this but have not given us a time or date when this will be fixed, but have asked for us to gather as much information from players as possible, thank you.

Hi kkrocky, thanks for posting the video I can now hear what you are able (or rather not) in the game.

Can I ask has this only started happening to you after the recent update or has this affected you for some time now? Usually players have audio issues with no player foot steps or reverse sound directions through headphones but your audio seemed to randomly cut out altogether.

Can I ask what kind of set up are you using? Do you use any special mics or headphones and in your settings I can see you have it set to HIFI, have you tried playing around with the other settings available on this option to see if you are able to hear all of the audio channels in the game?

At the moment we are trying to enable cross-progression for some of our titles, this has been added to some of our titles in the form of -
PC > Stadia
Xbox One > Series X > PC
PS4 > PS5

We have not announced any plans to do this with Siege but please stay tuned for any updates on this in the future through our official channels -

Hi Rogue_Mango, sorry for the delay replying your post has seemingly been buried in between other posts so apologies for that.

Usually players are able to do unlink their console platforms through our website here, if you scroll down the page to linked platforms you can hit the unlink button -

When you next launch a new Ubisoft game from your new PlayStation account it should ask you to sign into your Ubisoft account, which you can so so and link your new PlayStation account.

You can also do this by again visiting the Ubisoft account website and signing in using your new PlayStation account credentials -

Thanks for reporting this issue to us everyone. So far the only other reports I have seen on this have been for FPS high frame rate games such as Call of Duty. We will continue to keep tack of reports of players console fans behaviour in this forum.

If anybody else has videos please post here, if you have made any adjustments to the games settings please post them here too.

If you haven't already done so, I would also reach out to Sony about this too and send them your videos.

Hello Feizelcrux1992, sorry for the delayed reply, I have been trying to catch up to players posts in this forum.

PlayStation users are not able to share any content from the game across accounts. If you try to do this you may see the message 'Validating Multiplayer Privilege's' which will not allow you to get online with the game, as the game tries to work out which account owns the game and PS Plus.

For Xbox users, the game will allow you to play on separate Microsoft accounts all on one console. If your edition of the game came with Yearly Pass Operators, you should be able to share these with another account on the same console, as they are tied to your base game.

However, Xbox players are not able to share purchased skins, operator bundles bought from within the in-game store, Operators purchased from the Microsoft store, or operators unlocked with renown. These can only be used on the Xbox account that purchased / unlocked them originally.... Read more

Were you able to try any of the troubleshooting Ubi-Karl gave you which included port forwarding your routers and switching to us an ethernet cable?

Were you able to test your connection by connecting to a mobile hotspot?

(Intermittent completely missing audio, displaced audio - as in hearing sound effects from far away you should not be able to hear, missing audio channels - as in no gunfire sounds or missing footsteps, another audio issue entirely?)

Thanks for confirming LiquidForce18, this issue has been reported up to QA now and it is under investigation, the triggers are not working as should after changing in the options, I believe this may be affecting our XBSX players also. If we have any updates to share we will try our best to post this in the forum. Thank you.

Okay no problem XforExemplified, that is understandable.

Would you be able to try deleting your local save file for me? If you do this please be aware you may have to customize your player loadouts again, but another player reported this worked for them during our investigation as a workaround - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/Article/000061964

Hi laKittle, sorry to see you have experienced this too.

Back in Year 3 Season 4 a patch was deployed to the game, to be able to disable the mouse wheel from scrolling which was found to be the cause of the issue for many players even though they were using key binds to switch between weapons. A lot of players contacted us through various methods asking for this feature in the game.

Are you able to test the game after disabling the mouse scroll in the settings and let u know if the game still randomly switch between weapons for you?

Can you make sure no other game launchers are running in the background as well as this that may be interfering, other than Ubisoft Connect and Steam.
