Hey there @d_maciel2 , thanks for getting in touch about this. I understand you've also faced this issue of black bars when playing at a 4K resolution, which is most unusual. I'd really like to help you solve this.

As far as I can see, we've had no other reports of this issue. I'd imagine our teams routinely test our games on 4K displays, to check for issues. For this reason, we've asked for a screenshot so that we can pass it on internally - this will help our teams to replicate the issue on our end.

Before we do that, though, can you make sure to run through our troubleshooting guide? The steps we've listed have been shown to fix the vast majori...

Heya @CrazyNinja47 , thanks for getting in touch about these crashes you've had after the intro cinematic. That sounds super frustrating, and I'll be happy to help you solve this.

We can't directly use the crash logs here on the forum, but I'm confident we'll be able to solve this with some further local troubleshooting. You've already tried updating your graphics drivers and verifying the game files, which is great - that's the two most important steps. Please see the rest of our ...

Heya @hundreAd1800 , thanks for this write-up. As you may know from my other posts, I've not played this far through Anno 1800 yet, so I'm not in a position to fully understand the situation. So, I've just gone ahead and passed everything you've said across to our team verbatim, and we'll report back once we've got more information from our team on what the situation is. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Heya @Pinepyi , thanks for letting us know about this. I understand you've found the 'read Paloma's letter' objective to not be met upon performing this action, leaving you no way to progress. Sorry about that! Certainly sounds frustrating to have to restart 😞

I've gone ahead and let our team know about this.

You mentioned you may have been playing it too quickly. Can y...

Hey there @ms2000bk , welcome to our forums! Thanks for reaching out. I understand you are trying to launch Anno 1800, but you've found it to redirect you to Steam. That's really unusual!

Just to make sure, are you certain you purchased Anno 1800 via the Ubisoft Store, and not Steam? From what you've described, it sounds like you'd purchased Anno 1800 on Steam initially, and now when you are trying to launch it via Ubisoft Connect, it is trying to launch Steam. Most likely from there, you've got Steam automatically logging into a different account than the one you'd purchased Anno 1800 on.

The best thing to do would be to get in touch with our support team directly, as they'll be able to have a look at your account to see what is happening...

Hey there @EJOYVOID , thanks so much for reaching out about this. I understand you've had goods on an airship eventually move into other slots, rather than staying in the preferred two slots. Sorry about that!

I can see that our team has been investigating this on our end. In the meantime, our recommendation is to use different airships for different goods, as this allows the goods to take up whichever slots they end up in - it has the other benefit of reducing delivery times.

Sorry for the inconvenience with this. Let me know if you've got any questions.

Heya, @bdoux33 , thanks for sharing your report of this! My apologies for the misunderstanding. We've not specifically been informed that it is to do with French versions of Windows, or with Windows set to French - rather, the information we have is simply that the issue is with interactions with Windows itself. My own inference is that it's to do with regional administration settings, after a player had shared a workaround with us.

'In Windows go to Settings / Time and language / Language and region / Administration language settings

In the 'Formats' t...

Hey there @dingusmcgee85 , thanks for getting in touch. I understand you've had a difficult time with crashes in Anno 1800, and I'm really sorry to hear about this.

I understand you've had issues with having to sign in to Ubisoft Connect despite listing your device as trusted. This is something our team is actively investigating internally. My apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

For the crashes you've had, although we are tracking some issues where players are crashing in specific circumstances, the crashes you've described are not one we've pre...

Hey @Bzhydack , thanks for confirming that for us.

Ordinarily, we'd ask that you try running the game without mods, to make sure no conflicts are happening. However, in this case, the existence of this specific mod to fix the issue I think suggests that this is a persistent issue, and I've sent across your report internally to make sure our team are aware of it.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! My apologies for the inconvenience.

Alright, nice one @Asterix201252 - thanks for this! Indeed, switching to a new setup accomplishes the same as trying another output. Fingers crossed the issue doesn't reoccur, but please do let me know if it does, and I'll update my report.

Ahoy there @roywachter , welcome to our forums! Great to hear you're giving Anno 1800 a go 🙂

I've moved this thread across to our General Discussion area, where our community will be better able to give advice on how best to build a harbour. It'd be helpful to have some screenshots from you showing what steps you've been taking when trying to construct a harbour - that'll help other players to better see what you might want to do differently.

Here's our ...

Heya @hundreAd1800 , thanks for your comprehensive explanation on this one. I can see how this makes the Hacienda Rum Distillery less useful than the ordinary one. I'm unsure if this is an oversight, but either way, I've passed your argument across to our team to look into internally. Thanks again 🙂

Heya @Asterix201252 , thanks for coming back to us about this! I understand the troubleshooting we've recommended doesn't help, and you still hear this unusual knocking noise.

To try to narrow this down though, so that we can more easily reproduce the issue on our end, can you perform one further troubleshooting step for me?

Please try playing the game with another audio output. The easiest way to do this is to use a USB or bluetooth headset or headphones (as opposed to a 3.5mm headset or headphones that goes through your existing sound output). Don't worry if this isn't something you are able to test - I know it is dependant on having access to another audio output.

Either way, can you also tell me what sound drivers you are on? The easiest way to check this is to right-click your volume icon in the system tray where the clock is, choose 'sounds,' then right-click your sound output and choose 'properties,' then 'properties' next to the controller informat...

Heya @Annodominic , welcome to our forum! Thanks very much for reporting these issues with the Pride and Peddlers scenario. Heya @hundreAd1800 - thanks for that clarification, and sorry for the misunderstanding. I can see from the screenshot that it erroneously says on the tooltip that electricity is imported, when it is not. I've passed this report on internally now.

Heya @Michelsakr , welcome to the Discussions forum! Sorry to hear you've lost progress after the game seems not to be saving correctly. I'll be happy to help you solve this.

In most cases, this suggests an access issue - the game hasn't been able to write the save file to your system, due to access privileges. Fortunately, this can be solved with the steps in our tr...
