Just be careful using them. Some can completely ruin your save.

Generally, you can move from Minor versions (A20.1->A20.2) with no problems. But moving from Major version to Major version (A20.x->A21.x) isn't possible, the game prevents you from loading the save because the differences between versions is too big, and most likely result of loading it would be corruption.

There's some sort-of workarounds people in the community have come up with, but, for the most part, Even the workarounds have a big host of problems that often make it more trouble than it's worth.

RIP :< Live n learn.

If you'd like to give back the lost material, press F1 to open the console, type "CM" and enter that command, Press F1 again to close the console then press the U key to open the creative menu. Use this menu to give yourself back the approximate amount of lost material and some wood to smelt it into the forge at it's new location.

Then just repeat the initial steps to disable creative mode again. If you care about achievement progress, after disabling creative mode exit to menu and reload the save- Progress is only toggled off for the session in which creative mode is used; Not permanently.

In any case, Game on n have a good day. :winter2019happyyul:

Not to mention, honestly this sounds like it involves more or less constantly travelling for hours/days at a time while running away from combat and never building. Which, pardon my bluntness, sounds boring, for lack of a gentler word.

That statement is just a cope.
Which features are still missing?

Going to quote mysellf from a previous post that more or less touches on this; For quote-nesting purposes I won't be putting the whole thing in a quote. (steam stops letting you nest quotes after 2 or 3 deep.)

Biomes are a fixed area from a gameplay perspective. They're determined by the biome map that is generated with the world.

That said, you can externally edit the biome map and make biomes into whatever you want them to be.

The game is working as the developers intend. The developers expect players to specialize in the “Living Off the Land” skill before they can reliably/consistently grow their farms. There has been much discussion on this topic in previous threads, if you’re interested.

To my knowledge, at this time there is no method of doing so. If Cheat Mode is enabled, or if a player manually enables Creative Mode or Debug Mode in game, achievements are disabled for the session.

There you go! Some people here have tried to help you with Mindfulness about your ability to resist temptation and others have given you an actual solution. The internet is great!

I'm sure there must already be a mod that removes traders. I'm pretty sure you can remove the temptation from your game already.

I tend to spread my points pretty evenly across all trees, and often specialize in one specific tree to the exclusion of others for fun. Everyone treats the game like a sprint- But it's really not. You can take a marathon approach and be just fine.

In fact, The faster you run, the faster the game gets harder- And going down STR/INT puts you into basically the fastest exp gain bracket; You'll rapidly gain exp from harvesting materials, rapidly gain exp from building, rapidly gain exp from doing quests, you'll have vehicles quickly so you cut down travel times and get more things done in less overall time, etc, etc, etc..

Never really felt like I was gimping myself, The other skill trees are perfectly capable of handling the game on their own- They just take different playstyles and approaches.

AGI/PER/FORT are all fairly well balanced against the game- STR and INT are just too strong in comparison... But STR/INT is also a lot like using a 50 caliber ri... Read more
