Have you actually tried avoiding horde night with a vehicle (in A19)? If not, you’re in for a rude awakening.

Hordes are balanced against the players within a certain range of eachother. You and your friend will get a horde difficulty tailored to you, And the other two, being 1km away, would get a horde tailored to them.

Yep! Oh, and I did forget one thing, There is a cap to the debt. 25% of the total exp required to the next level. So 2.5 deaths worth, assuming you don't pay any of it off between deaths.

The exp penalty is a deficit, a 'Debt' you pay off by gaining experience. It's 10% of your total exp required to the next level per death.

So if you require 100k exp to gain a level, but are halfway through the level, you'd get 10k debt, not 5k; And any exp you gain first goes towards settling the debt. Once the debt is fully paid, it's back to business as usual.

Either E or R; Which are Interact and Reload respectively, since you've remapped.

Agreed it should be listed that the saves are not cloud based.

But if you built your pc and still have the old hard drive, you should be able to get the save files from it and copy it over without much difficulty.
It does though, If you read the tags on the right side where it lists Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Coop, Contro... Read more

I’m curious why you thought it was GPU based. It’s consistently been CPU based for years; probably since inception. Were you informed by a source that says otherwise?

The devs have talked about this phenomenon, so we know it’s intended.

How were you rolling the pickaxes?

If you just searched Iron/Steel Pickaxe, and then filled your inventory from that alone, then all the pickaxes you got were identical.

You have to change the search term to re-generate the item each and every time to get new stats rolled; which also re-rolls quality.

You can howevver just take a letter away to re-roll once, and then add the letter back to reroll again.
EG: "Steel Pickaxe" "Steel Pickax" "Steel Pickaxe".

Plenty of players were frustrated by starting in an "unfair" location, and the first thing they'd do is spend all of Day 1 running to a better spot. The forest is intended to be the safest biome, with lower risks and lower rewards. This should be enhanced in the future, when they apply a gamestage multiplier to 'buff' both the zombies and the loot in other biomes.

A reasonable request. The devs are far more active on the official forum at 7daystodie.com, if you’re interested.

When you say different, what are you comparing it to? It will turn out differently in different versions of the game.

That's hilarious, and I would love to see a vid of someone doing that.
Never considered trying that one. Thanks !

Strafe. They're about as fast as normal zombies; They're keeping up with you by jumping. But they can't redirect themselves mid-air. So if you're strafing at the moment they jump, they'll land around where you were, and you'll be a fair way away. Also their jump has a cooldown; So if you're wanting to just run away instead of fighting it, Do the strafing thing to bait the jump, then sprint away immediately when you see them leave the ground.

I mean, In a normal world, Normal weather is taken for granted.

""It's a horror game, so it's dark"" is not what's going on here, though. The burnt area is smoky because it's burnt; It's still smoldering. There are still active cinders and glowing embers everywhere.

The wasteland is wasteland because it (or an area adjacent to it, technically) was nuked. Fallout is in the air. Life is dead there, There's no living grass rooted into the topsoil to stop dust storms. Etc.

And both of the above have a dramatic effect on local climate, Not to mention some other things going on.

Overall though, Much as I can see why the weather is the way it is, I wouldn't be against settings to control it. I'd love to have it always raining myself. :P

Not a bug report. Moving to General Discussions.

This would work better for a Vegas setting where a sizable portion of the population is apparently Elvis and Marilyn impersonators. 😃
