I think they are keeping silent because they just simply don't want to maintain 3 other versions of the game.

People are already upset at the amount of time A20 is taking, now imagine adding like 2x the work for the same result, it would be pretty bad...

Sure, an Alpha 20 port *could* be made in theory (It's not going to be, but this is theoretical), but what happens if/when Alpha 21 comes out? The game is not able to be updated yet again, and console players are once again stuck behind PC players.

The inside detection is not that great and could use more research. You also end up with cases like you are inside, but zombies are too, so it should not be muffled for them except maybe their indoors is really adjacent to yours in another room/building, so it should be muffled.

Not on the radar right now. It will add some performance overhead, so we would have to evaluate if worth it.

A2020.3.14? So how many centuries are we supposed to work on this game???

I've been using 2020.3.14 for weeks and appears fine. Once builds gets tested using it, if it works well, then that will probably be A20's version.

Raytracing, DLSS, etc has to be supported by the render pipeline not just Unity in general. Those are HDRP features. We use the built in pipeline, which does not and may never support them. We have no plans to update 7dtd to HDRP, since it will take a lot of time. We hope to use HDRP on one of our next games.

Yes. This is what they're down to for patches of the Alpha 19.x alpha version that is already primarily finished- Its getting a little polishing and tweaking a bit at a time by back-porting changes being made in A20.

Well, I believe that there can both be a general rule and common sense. =P

SI is certainly a consideration, but it wouldn’t preclude sewers entirely. A sewer pipe would have to be 3 blocks wide or wider to even have any air blocks inside. And without air blocks, everything’s ‘solid’ regardless of shape.

Even so, a self-contained sewer system POI that doesn’t go under other POIs does seem like the easier route.

Making bloodmoon harder is mostly an issue of improving the zombies' means to get to you.

That could be done by increasing block damage, increasing the damage and AOE of the spitters' ranged weapon, and improving their jump abilities.

There's also not reason to disrespect someone for not having been around on the forum for a long time.

Everyone please take their pills NOW. =P

It depends.
In most cases you have A Regular Player report a bug from his modded game.
There is no way to tell what version, variant or configuration of the mod he's using or what "improvements" he may have made to it even if the name of the mod is stated.
Tracking a "bug" like that is a complete waste of time and testers have work to do.
OTOH: Modders have reported many valid bugs because they do understand what's going on - even if the bug only surfaces in the very specific conditions of their mod.
That's why we tell people to report that in the mod's topic. If a modder finds a bug that would also occur in the vanilla game then that's a wholly different category.

Erm.. You mean the line that shows you whether or not you've finished drawing the arrow back and can now fire? I'm sure it can be modded out. But, Why? Kinda necessary info, isnt it?

Yknow, you say it's gotten consistently easier...but it's the opposite, actually. It's quite a bit harder than it used to be, in most respects.. To the point that with A18 and the addition of the new injury system, they lowered the default difficulty by one step.

Only two things have gotten notably 'easier' over the last number of alphas, imo;
1: Food and water are a bit easier, in general, to acquire and maintain.
And
2: The temperature system rework, which arguably made it easier to deal with since it can no longer kill you and is easier to understand/manage.

What has changed significantly though, is your skill at the game. Your knowledge of the game. Your understanding of how to deal with the various situations you end up in.
