There is a Grammar Nazi card game but I don't think there is a video game about it, yet.

I'll be honest, I'm not even sure what is is they're asking.

Do you mean the Iron spike traps?
How did you want to improve them?
Are you looking at modding, or just some in-game upgrade path?

There’s also the world previewer under editing tools. Just enter the same seed you used to make the map. You can fly around and see a lot more details than biomes.png will show.

Thanks for an insightful and thorough post, OP. People may disagree on some details, but this forms a good primer for anyone wondering about the game’s weapons.

Yes since spawns in POIs are controlled by sleeper volumes.

So enemies can wander around. Like bandits would move about.

Because someone added it to the project many years ago. I can find all kinds of models and anims on the internet and slap them in, but artists generally like to do high quality specific case assets for their games.

Besides some bugs, trying to get client side block stability to be calculated to work with changes to block placement visuals.

That is not as simple as it sounds. Is that a hill or a staircase or a bunch of blocks placed like a stair case or a combination of all of it. Should the AI beat the side of the hill because you are 5m up it? No. It would not make sense. So you have to looks at all those blocks, which is slow and try to figure out what the 3d cube of blocks around and between the zombie and you mean. Tons of edge cases for nonsensical behavior.

They are sleepers that move about in a small area. The will cause more overhead, but hopefully that can be balanced by optimizations that allow them to say, follo

Some more specific details would be important.

What flavor GTX 1060? Of the 3 primary variants, only one meets recommended specs.
What specific i7-7700 do you have? Again, there are some variants here, and your performance will vary greatly depending on which you have.
What are your hard drives? Specifically. What is the OS on? What is the game installed on?
What are your video settings at? Resolution, V-sync, and a screenshot of the entire second page of settings. (example[i.gyazo.com])

Each of these is going to have a pretty big impact on your performance. I imagine either something is falling below spec, or your settings are higher than your hardware can support.
Need details to help you though.

Good call. Let me see.

Oh, look! It's apparently the most asked question, too! Aaand... there we have our answer: 73.6 %.

The solar panel doesn't need to be rotated to face the sun in 7DTD; It's either on during daylight or off at night.

Yes, we would like to improve it. I've already spent time changing how water data is stored, but that is disabled for A20 and I don't like wasting my time, so I do plan on finishing it. There are water simulation changes we would like to make, but another programmer will probably be doing that.

If your FPS is tanking that hard from three torches, you have other issues. The tree farm is more likely to cause dips.

Maybe try reading the Pinned threads, and providing some actual information in your report.

We have many programmers, many artists and many designers working on all different parts of the game. I concern myself with programming, so can't say much in other areas.

Most of what you listed is not coming to A20. What is on the first page is most of what is coming, but there are some changes like optimizations or block placement visuals that are not listed.

We don't give release dates months or even weeks in advance, but I can say A20 is months away and as a player of the game, I'm looking forward to it.

Sure. Now it says Not...

There are 20 items on list and 2 say not coming in A20.

Edit: Changed water to say not in A20.

This is something I've wondered about. Say you put a bunker buster mod on your pick axe. The stats shows it boosts the block damage, but the description says it works on rock. So, do you get that better block damage only on rock, or on everything with an additional, sort of hidden, ...

Are you comparing the Q6 item against your modded out Q5? Or are you comparing them both modded out and/or both unmodded?

'Cause mods make a huge difference. Every mod is a 15% bonus to the main stat (typically damage or block damage) in addition to it's other effects.

So, a Q5 item has 3 mod slots and, for example, 50 damage.
And a Q6 with 4 mod slots and 48 damage..

But when modded out, the Q5 has 72.5 damage, while the Q6 has 76.8. In addition to the extra bonus stats from the additional mod, the Q6 ends up actually having the superior stats once it's modded out.

No...It's a bunch of, for lack of a better term, lazy people not actually using the design of the forum board. It's separated into sections for ease of finding the information you're actually after.

Questions with concrete answers for which there is little discussion beyond the answering of the question itself belong in the Q&A subforum; But many people don't bother.

Bug reports and issues should go in the aptly named support& bug reports subforum..But again, Many don't bother.

Anyone who doesn't just dr... Read more

Don't know, since no work has been done on it and it is not coming to A20.
