There's an achievemet to die 500 times though, that's a whole lot of dying
Yep. I have been playing since Alpha 9, do internal experimental testing, have well over 5000 hours of gameplay, and Leroy Jenkings things quite a bit. Even with that I'm still at 288/500.

They are annoying. But I do like how, like real vultures, they don’t attack you when you’re healthy, instead biding their time until they see something injured/dying. As far as strategy, I had to learn to not waste arrows trying to shoot them out of the sky. They’re not bad when you have a gun though.

That will have to wait for A21. Build your own Death Star.

Well... it’s always an option, since you don’t have to keep everything in your backpack. You can consolidate loot in containers (existing or player-made) until you finish the quest and can leave.

Intended? No. But, Some people are just that impatient. If you don't mind paying the penalty exp in return for the quick trip home, and choose to play without your inventory dropping when you die, then that's a decision you can make. It's not necessarily right, Nor necessarily wrong; But it's definitely not 'intended'.

If you have full health, and aren't in the wasteland, they will not attack you in the wild. POI
and wasteland spawners are different though.

They are stupidly easy to kill though, and are a nice source of feathers. Just be aware of your surroundings at all times.

This. The story is that you pissed off the Duke of Navezgane, and he had his men knock ya for a loop and leave you for dead to the zombies. Only, You woke up before the zombies found you and now have the chance to survive and likely eventually get 'revenge' on the duke for what he did. Of this story, only small clues are in the game currently, like the note mentioned by Teresa.

So yes, Logically, You would have had clothes, weapons, etc. And also logically, You got yourself robbed. :P

That alone could be a reason you are still able to consume items you already know - and even more so if playing single player, you'd be giving up a lot of potential XP gain and accumulating a bunch of clutter if you couldn't consume those books you already know.

Isn't it just like 50 points though? I'd rather sell them and have the dukes.

Yeah, that's the Vanilla mod. Look whether the book icon is open or closed.

it was outside the main base, using an auger, though.

I think augers (and chainsaws) are the noisiest or ‘hottest’ tools in the game with regard to the heat/activity map. I’m not surprised if extended auger use alone is enough to bring in the screamers.

As a mod / buff, yes.

If you greatly decrease the entityDamage passive, tagged for ranged and explosives then those damage types will do at most 1 point of damage.

Why there's no options to turn off food and water when it's a drag?

It's a real pain to make farm plots, I've killed hundreds of zombies last night and have 13 rotten meat to show for it.

It's also kinda stupid to add meat into a garden because any animal products are a menace to gardens in r...

There are no rifles with a clip (like the SKS uses) in the game and AFAIK, none are planned.
