Runs fine for me with a lesser CPU. Also note, this game IS CPU bound.

I have the following system hardware, and these video settings at 1440p, and the game runs just fine. Averaging 110-160FPS in most places. In a city situation it might drop into the 45-70FPS range for a bit, but it is perfectly playable.

At any rate, I have always advocated for a more moderate approach to the game with having your focus be on tasks and objectives related to living and survival rather than your focus being on leveling up and stats and dps and underlying mechanics. I don't care if others play with that focus but I disagree with those who claim they are forced to play that way.

There are features & content (and to me, bandits and story are most salient on the list) that the devs have always talked about being part of the game. From what they've consistently said, they're still committed to having these elements: still planning for them, still designing everything in a way that they can eventually incorporate them. When the devs talk about going "gold," they mean when all those elements are in the game and stable. The timing of reaching that point, and how it relates to leaving Early Access or other development milestones, is less certain.

Looting is based on loot stage, not game stage.

Quite the opposite as Random Lead said; The players Shortest maximum range, which is bare handed or with leather knuckles, is actually longer than the longest possible zombie reach. There is never a time where you can't hit a zombie but it can hit you, but there IS a range wherein you can hit them and they can't hit back.
