1. Don't use EAC.
2. Wait for EAC to update their tool to be compatible with the latest OS.
3. Go back to the previous OS version that EAC works with.

And if you had looked in the correct location, you might have found this before posting. Moving your thread to the correct location so you can find it.

Ping isn't a game issue. It is a network or security software issue. You have to fully exclude both the client and the save folder. If you are playing with someone else, they will need to do it as well.

I appreciate that you want to help. But this thread was made several years and several Alphas ago. The game has changed a lot since then, and information here can be out of date. If anyone is having a problem today, please start ... Read more

This isn't entirely true. While you can't break bedrock with God Hammer or SuperDigger, you can remove bedrock with the volume tools by holding nothing in your hand and then filling the space randomly with the empty block.

#2 is exacerbated by #1. The reason you cant just spam blocks isnt because it's not realistic, But because this game, unlike minecraft and other building games, has structural integrity.

If you're going a mile a minute in minecraft you're inevitably going to misplace blocks, you're going to go further than you meant to, you're going to place blocks out of order, And the result of that is- You remove a few blocks and fill in the gaps you miss.

In 7DTD, If you go a mile a minute,
You're going to misplace blocks,
you're going to go further than you meant to,
and/or
you're going to place blocks out of order
And the result of that is your entire structure collapsing because
you placed too many mis-placed blocks and over-whelmed your support
you placed too many blocks by going too far and overwhelmed your support
you skipped a block that was essential to the integrity of your build

And there went your last 3 hours of buildi... Read more

And since there is already a pinned thread where users can discuss it, I’m going to close this one.

Right now, too much of the bedwork of the game is in flux and adding workshop at this point would end up with like 90+% of the workshop content being for older states of the game, and the workshop isn't especially good at sorting for versioning unless the users go out of their ways to self-filter, and they often don't.. So it'd result in a fairly bad overall experience in the long term for very little gain.

Modding the game isn't hard right now- Download mod, put in mod fold... Read more

You would look for that in areas related to modding. Best place is the Official forum.

This is covered in the Pinned troubleshooting thread in the Support section. Ping that high means that the client and save folders are not excluded from security software.

Moving your thread to the right section so you can find the pins.

yeah, no one really uses RAM Drives anymore because NVMe's are nearly as fast without the risk of losing everything if your power glitches.

You aren't likely going to get an anti-cheat program to be agreeable with an abnormal configuration.

Alternatives are Navezgane, or hand-crafted maps. You may find the latter published by modders.

They are doing preset parts, so you would pick a head and body and then vary some aspects like hair.

Roads are not planned to be changed unless we stumble on something or need to fix a bug. I did speed up road gen speeds about 3x, so I can now make an 8k world with default settings in <50 seconds. I do have a fast PC.

Looking better, but running worse is often how it goes. In this case it may cost a few FPS, but it is not a final tweaked feature yet. The lower quality shadow settings may have contact shadows disabled.

If you’re going to make a thread, OP, then it needs to offer something constructive to discuss. This was as nondetailed as you can get.

I have not posted in a while, so here is some info for January:

RWG is getting some improvements for A22. Alloc and I have reduced memory use a huge amount. I have also been working on performance with stamping now many times faster. I plan on looking at road generation speed next as is the slowest system now. Better messaging. Some fixes for seeds not being consistent and possibly other bugs like biomes not matching percents.

I started prototyping sleeper volumes having a simple embedded scripting system for more control over spawning.

Our gfx programmer is adding new hair shaders, contact shadows and ambient occlusion.

The player profile editor has been updated for the new player models.

Console features are getting more functional and refined each week.

Not likely.. It'd be better to get better ram than more ram. Moving up to, ie, DDR4 3600/4000/4400/4800 would benefit you more in this case as the game already doesn't take up 16gb in most cases (IF its taking that much ram, You're overflowing your GPU vram and it's putting the extra into normal ram because it's gotta get loaded somewhere- Lower texture resolution or possibly other settings to resolve.)

Not really, no. The game, like many others, is CPU bound- It cant use every available thread. Individual core speed is more important. When the CPU is bottlenecked in that manner, no amount of extra power in the rest of your hardware will do much to alleviate it.
