Hey Bloodlex2,

at least for the time being, we're not planning to add any additional oil tanker models or do changes to existing ones, I'm afraid.

Comment

Hey, we're planning such a feature for a future Game Update.
Final confirmation on that later this year 🙂

Regarding the Schnapps news: Yes, this is a currently known issue. We're looking into fixing this with a future update so that these notifications are not appearing when none of the new buildings have even been built.

However, I don't know what you're referring to with the fissure and crumbling. There are no earthquakes (or other types of features that would visually change the island) in the game. Factory explosions or fires can destroy buildings, though.

Thorlof

We'll happily pass your comments on @kopig , however as Support we have no direct influence over the timing and type of updates that are implemented in-game.

Should we hear anything further on this, we'll let you know.

Thank you!

Comment

Thank you for reaching out @kopig , a fix is still being worked on however we don't have an exact date as to when this is expected to be released yet, as this is at the discretion of the game's development team, however when we have more details available, we'll share them here.

Thank you for your continued patience!

Hey Yorky65,
I get where you're coming from regarding the always busy worlds of Anno 1800.
However, the way the game is set-up with the calculations of each region necessary in the background for things like trade routes, income, research and the quick switch between regions, it's unfortunately not possible to pause worlds like you suggested.
Sorry for being the bringer of bad news here.

Cheers,
Thorlof

@araceaehh Creating a new region is a very high-effort project, requiring new islands, buildings, etc., this effort has to be carefully balanced with projected sales as well as availability of team members.
Additionally, as you already surmised, new content, especially new islands and regions, are having a huge impact on performance and hardware requirements. So there are also certain limits here since optimizations are a lot trickier in a game that is already live compared to the time before release.

Hey there @humbert2014 🙂

On these forums, we like to keep the discussion to English, so that everyone understands each other. To discuss Anno in German with players or Ubisoft Support, please head over to the German forums: ...

Hey, if you're using any mods, please remove them or wait for them to receive an update.

No matter if you're using mods or not, please verify the game files:

At least right now there are no plans to add another campaign, or a follow-up the main campaign, to Anno 1800.
We might explore some aspects of the existing lore and stories in scenarios (like we did in "Eden Burning" last year), however.

Since the original question has been answered, I'm going to close this thread since the Anno forums certainly aren't the right place for political discussions.

This is the official statement from early March which still applies:
https://news.ubisoft.com/en-us/article/2dkkIG51BCP24JwGGvDry9/how-ubisoft-is-supporting-our-teams-and-the-people-of-ukraine

To my knowledge, similar decisions have been taken by multiple other (video game) companies. While I understand this can be frustrating as a player, I honestly don't expect this decision to change in the near future. That said, I'm also not the right person to comment on this matter, so I'd would recommend keeping an eye on the official Ubisoft channels for...

Hello @MrKoaIa thank you for your post and welcome to the forum!

As your post is about x2 gameplay queries and also x1 gameplay suggestion and no bug reports, I will move your post to our General Discussion area instead, thank you.

Hopefully one of our players will be able to advise or one of our devs will be able to address your suggestions.

Also from me: Thank you for your suggestions 🙂 While we can understand some players would love to see the world expanded with e.g. an Asian-themed session, we currently have no plans to add any more regions to Anno 1800.

Should these plans change, we will of course let you know.

Cheers,
Thorlof

Hey comcrasher,

thank you for your suggestions for this Season 🙂

We do indeed have a dedicated New World monument planned for DLC 12 at the end of the year, but it won't be a hotel.
For the Old World, there are no major additions planned for this year since Season 4 is focused on additions for the New World.

This is something we are still investigating regarding feasibility and effort.

But we know this is a feature our players would love to see, so: If we decide to work on it for a future Game Update, we'll definitely let you know 🙂

Ubisoft has currently suspended all sales in Russia and Belarus.
To my knowledge, there's no end date to this measure yet.

So, I'm sorry but we're unable to help you with your issue at the moment.

Hey there,

First of all: Happy to hear you enjoyed the "Eden Burning" scenario!
We got more scenarios coming up this year with Season 4 - here's hoping you'll enjoy them, too.

Regarding your question: We're not planning to include environmental issues as a mechanic into the main game. This would require a massive rework of the game (even if players could choose between normal version and this version, which would be the only way to preserve savegames) to account for the full impact to all features as well as the game's balance. It's much easier to design something like this for a specific, controlled environment like a scenario.
