The quote they wrote was from the patch notes that fixed this bug. I'm circular mode increasing the width does nothing. Increasing the width increases the degrees of the outer arc up to 360. In circle mode, the outer arc is 360.

I think you might be conflating the announced CoF from the item factions announcement with SSF.

SSF is strictly a solo experience. You can't be in the same zone as another player, let alone trade with them.

CoF does cater to players who play SSF but doesn't restrict you from being in a party or using the gifting system.

Sorry to hear that. It always sucks when a character gets lost.

The offline characters are stored locally on your device and I'm not sure where the steamdeck stores them but I think it's a different location when you switch to proton. This would account for why the character was missing when you switched. As far as I know it should come back on switching back but I'm really not sure.

The Steamdeck is still an unsupported platform. We haven't done anything on it at all. It working as well as it does is a by-product of our work on a Linux client and partial controller support.

Steam sync can also possibly back it up. This means that sync could have overwritten your saves with empty saves on proton.

Yes, all stats work for things they don't have a conflict for.

So increased damage works for everything but increased cold damage doesn't work for fire damage.

A spell would have a conflict with increased melee crit chance so it wouldn't work.

What level are you? Skills have a massive slowdown if they are pushed high relative to your level.

Its identical.

There are a couple practical differences. Usually high synergy teams can go faster together, also if someone kills something out of range, you don't get xp for it. You can also gift gear to each other so you can reach get sightly more appropriate stuff if you are playing diverse builds.

We’re aware and are planning to add lore collectibles, random events, “one-shot” caches, and more mini-bosses. It may take a bit to get that where we’d like it to be but it’s on our radar.

All information regarding specific abilities of the missing masteries is out of date. We haven't released details of their abilities.

We don't have specific plans for a lovecraftian style class at the moment.

No idea, haven't tried it or heard of anyone trying it. The game doesn't have built in alternate text input. I'm just not if big picture will stimulate a keyboard automatically or not.

We have a lot planned for the Monolith and end-game systems. 1.0 is just kickoff for the game and then we plan to add additional content every 3-4 months for years - much of it will be expanding the end-game. We actually have the first two LARGE monolith expansions already planned!

Love to hear it! Yes, we already have lots of additions to the end game planned. We know we need things like - random events - very challenging static boss content - more incentives when you level past 100 - more axis of progression when you reach end-game - more item types that are not main-slot items

We still have plenty of polish to get into the core game experience, the remaining masteries, item factions (trade systems | bazaar) and then we have some awesome things planned for further end-game expansion.

That's not what I said at all. I'm not someone who sets those rules. Personally I don't think that was appropriate at all. I can't speak for the whole team on this but I don't think it will be a hard sell to convince anyone else that it was inappropriate. I can't do anything about it myself. Especially while I'm on vacation. I want it dealt with so I directed them to the method by which they could report it. Please do not try to read into what I'm saying. Please read what I'm actually saying.

Edit: and I see several other replies to this effect now so this was probably unnecessary.

If you see something in chat that doesn't get moderated which you think is inappropriate for the game, please submit a report via the contact form on the support site. There is a specific option for reporting chat messages.

We are still working on our moderation rules and processes.
