Hey there, welcome to the forums!

Did you get an abandonment penalty message with the 2 hour ban?

The game can temporary ban players who have had several disconnects. If you have only left the game once, you should be able to rejoin another match after the other match has ended.

If you disconnect a lot from the game, I would advise following these connectivity steps for PC -

Hello everyone,

Because I am unable to find this in our Siege known issues list and because this issue seems to have been happening for a while, I would like help on reporting this bug.

- Would anyone be able to provide video footage of this happening?
- What data centre are you connected to?
- Is there a particular Operator you are playing as when this happens?
- Are you playing on Epic/Steam/Uplay?

Any information will help the game team to investigate this further, thank you.

This has been forwarded to the relevant team for investigation. In the meantime, please check if Rainbow Six and Uplay are whitelisted in your antivirus software.

Please note that we would advise against disabling your antivirus, even if this could be the cause of the issue. You could temporarily disable this for testing, but please make sure you re-enable it afterwards.

Welcome to the forums! Which platform are you playing on? If this is on PS4 then we would advise to let the installation continue as it will still be installing in the background.

It can take several hours to install/download depending on your internet speed.

Welcome to the forums. I am sorry to hear that you receive this ban, I am afraid that we are unable to remove these bans.

It is advised that once you start matchmaking to not leave it if you have been connected for over 60 seconds as it may be connecting to a match and this will result in further sanctions.

Siege is being blocked by Bitdefender we are unsure as to the reasoning behind this at the moment. However, it is being looked into.

This may be a feature that is added in the future, however we have no news on this at the moment.

Welcome to the forums. Rewarded ELO is not just based on winning or losing a game, it is based on your teamwork within the match itself. If you team killed, did not defend or were not a team player you may find you lose ELO.
