Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Have you recently updated your graphics card and windows build?

Can I ask if you have VSync enabled? A known fix that sometimes solves this issue -
Inside R6 menu, go to Options > Display > Refresh Rate - and set Vsync to 60Hz and lock the FPS

There are more steps we can take with Vsync, but it depends on if you are using AMD or Nvidia.

Let me know how you get on and we can do some more troubleshooting.

Hey there, thanks for getting in touch.

We appreciate any reports on cheaters in Siege and we ask players to reach out to us on through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter with any evidence in the form of player names, videos and the date and time it happened, then either tag us in a message or private message our account and we can look into it further with all the details.

Would you be able to give me an update on your situation?

We had maintenance work scheduled yesterday morning for consoles which is why you may have been unable to connect. Are you still experiencing this now?

Hi everyone,

I can confirm we have had more work scheduled for earlier today on the Siege servers for consoles but this has since been completed.

What console is everyone playing on?

Can you try running through the troubleshooting steps below, depending on what console you use and let me know how you get on? I'll be keeping an eye on this situation.

For any players who are new to this thread, we are still investigating ways to fix this issue with sound on Siege.

If you would like to aid us in our investigation and help us fix this issue and to reiterate what other colleagues have said, could you please provide all of the following information so we can pass on to our Siege game team -

- Please describe the audio issue you are having. (Example: Muffled gun audio, missing footsteps/gun audio, reverse audio)
- What platform are you playing on?
- Does it happen on specific maps? What maps have you noticed these audio issues on?
- Do you use WiFi or LAN connection?
- Did you notice the issue only on the replay cam playback? Live in game? Or both in game and on the replay cam?
- What happened prior to the audio issue occurring? (Did you equip a certain weapon? Did you walk a certain way? Did you visit a particular location?)

Can I ask which region you are playing from? As some countries have been known to block VOIP.

Also what kind of headset are you using and how is it connected to your PC?

Hi there,

I posted this in another thread, but to provide clarification on temporary bans -

All temporary bans are handled by the game automatically.

The game doesn't differentiate between the different behaviour, but the game will apply ban time based on the amount of undesirable behaviour the player has demonstrated.

Hey Zephoxz,

I realise you are using our support site, hope they are able to help you with this issue.

In case you come back to this post, you mentioned you use Windows Defender, could you make sure Siege is whitelisted in Windows Defender settings so it doesnt see it as a threat.

As well as this, if you run Task Manager, then go to start up programs and look to see if there are any programs you can disable that may be running in the background causing crashes, then restarting your computer without those programs running, this is known as a clean boot.

Do you happen to use any game overlays that maybe causing the game to crash?

Hey levi, thanks for getting in touch.

Sorry to hear you are frustrated with Siege mechanics. The game automatically can temporary ban players who have had several disconnects. Our agents are unable to over turn these bans. The game sees disconnects as players trying to drop out of games deliberately, making teams unbalanced and giving an unfair advantage to one team.

I understand your frustration and we are working on ways to solve this.
