If you follow the file path in that error message it should lead you to that specific .rpak file. If you can find it, try renaming the file, then verify the file integrity for Apex Legends in Steam.

Have you already tried repairing Apex Legends to see if that helps? 

 

If you're using Origin you can repair the game by right-clicking on Apex Legends in your Library and clicking the Repair option when the menu pops up. I've seen this happen myself. Usually it happens if I try to queue immediately after getting back to the lobby. If you give it some time before you try queueing again it might help stop this from happening.

I'm afraid I can really only recommend that you keep playing. After some time it will sync the ranks back up, but there isn't another workaround unfortunately.

This happens sometimes whenever there's a rank reset. If you play a few ranked matches solo it should force the ranks in the lobby to sync back up.

Hey there, 

 

Thanks for the report on this. We're aware of the issues that many people are seeing with high CPU usage, and we've been passing this information along. 

 

There are a handful of workarounds that some people have said are helping with this. Since you're using an NVIDIA GPU can you give this a shot to see if it helps? Start up GeForce Experience and make sure your drivers are up to date. Afterward try launching Apex Legends through GeForce Experience and see if the same issue still happens.

Would it be possible to try connecting with a network cable instead of wifi to see if that makes a difference? That way we can eliminate any possible wifi issues as a cause for the high ping.
