Hello again everyone, thank you all who wrote your system specs in this thread, answered the questions about which DirectX you were using and provided videos to demonstrate the lag issues, in certain situations when building certain buildings, in certain locations, or zooming in the view.

I have opened up an investigation into this issue, so hopefully, the Anno team can get to look into this soon and get back to us.

We may need to ask you some follow up questions or gather system files, so please watch this space for further updates and I'm sorry you are experiencing this lag in-game

Usually, when a purchase is made from the Ubisoft Store it can take up to 24 hours for a game to be delivered to your launcher, or the in-game content to appear in your game.

Missing dialogue audio and subtitles was reported to us previously for different DLC's in the campaign.

Can you please help me answer the following to help us investigate? >

  • Can you let me know what DLC you are experiencing this in?
  • Can you let me know what NPC characters are missing either dialogue or subtitles?
  • Do you know the name of the quests this affects?
  • Are you using any mods, if so, which?

Can you let us know if you are currently using any mods, and if so, can you try testing the game without them installed, as a few issues have cropped up after the update that seemed to be related to modded save files when the issues were investigated, so we need to rule this out.

Before we can report this, I understand you have used the same settings across all devices you have played the game on, but could you please still screenshot us an image of your graphic settings in-game so we can cover all bases and send this to our Anno team to investigate?

Hello @johnnyblackhand thank you for getting in touch with us about this 4-0xFFF0BE2B error code.

Could you first please open your gamesettings.ini file on PC in a text editor, then change the value "UseProxyAutoDiscovery" from 0 to 1 and then save this file. This was known to help some players on PC prevent the 4-0 error codes from occurring in-game.

I can see you have several cases open about this issue now and have been advised o make sure you are using the correct country code for your region as well as disable any VPN. Your account can be temporarily sanctioned for varying amounts of time due to repeatedly breaking the Siege Code of Conduct or disconnecting from Ranked matches multiple times or being reported by other players. You can also be given a permanent ban, depending on what the offence was.

In addition to my last post, please make sure if you are using mods with the game, you uninstall these mods and load a save from before April 12th when the update was pushed, then test the mine building again, as modded games after the update were known to be affecting this mechanic.

If you do find that you can build mines after uninstalling these mods, please let us know what mods you were using?

If you are unable to build mines, you have no mods installed, and you have verified your game files, please send us your save files for investigation 🙂

Hello @Pregolli and @mrsmommadragon thanks for posting about this clay pit issue. We have another similar report in the forums and have passed this information onto our Anno team to look into, thank you for the additional images.

I believe we do have we have previously had beta tests available for some DLC content before it is released for bug testing purposes, but I will reach out to our Anno team to see if I can gather any more information on this.

Hello Jalil.TCI, thanks for posting your query.

At the moment match replay information is only used by our Siege team. There is no way for players to view other players matches with this ID, you can only watch your own recorded replays, as there is no 'cinema mode' like some other titles sometimes use.

The only suggestion I can offer you is to see if the Pro League match that was played was either streamed on Twitch or had its vod uploaded to Twitch or YouTube, and watch the match from that perspective.

Hello Erhard-2615, this topic isn't something Ubisoft Support is able to advise on as crossplay mechanics and any updates on this are only known to the Siege devs at this point.

Are you experiencing performance issues in-game also and have you run through any of the steps listed above? FPS and stuttering issues can have multiple causes, this may not be something being caused by the game we can fix and we must rule out other causes of performance issues too, relating to a players build and connection.
