Hello @allesiskaal I am sorry to hear of your recent save games becoming corrupted. Can you please let me know if you have seen a "Data Corrupt!" displayed on the save file itself when you go to load them?

If so, I will need to open a private support case for you so we can investigate this further and direct your case to our Valhalla escalations team. Let us know when you can.

Hello @nova_svn sorry to hear of your sound issues after the last update.

Can you let me know what kind of audio setup you currently use on PC, do you use a particular kind of speaker, or a particular kind of headphone, just so we know what device you use for audio?

After a Windows or game update, Windows can sometimes change the preferred audio device your PC uses for the game, in the Windows settings. Hello nelliama, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with this questline, right near the end.

Are you able to upload a video of the issues you are having, showing what happens when you try to interact and read the letter, so we can see this in detail and check to see if anything matching this has been reported to us?

PlayStation consoles should give you an option to record a clip using the share button on your controller, then your console will ask if you would like to upload this to YouTube or Twitter, where you can then share the URL link with us, for us to be able to view.

Hello kingslanding570, thanks for lettting us know you also have an issue with this tomb.

Are you able to upload your save file to the cloud for us to access it?

Are you also able to record a quick 1-minute video, so we can see how you are unable to interact with the pad that you need to? We have had very few reports of this issue so far.

If you are using a Windows 10/11 PC, you should be able to record a clip using the free Xbox Gamebar overlay, using the Windows and G key, then select the capture/record option. You can then upload this to a website such as Youtube/Imgur/Twitter and post the URL link to view.

Xbox and PlayStation consoles should give you an option to record a clip using the share button on your controller, your console will then ask if you would like to upload this to YouTube or Twitter, where you can then share the website's URL link with us in this forum, for us to be able to view this too.

In order for us to report this, are you able to show us a screenshot of the exact location on the map, where you found this glow inside a Winterscire church? Do you also have a save file that is uploaded to the cloud, that we can access?

Hello borisskyman thanks for reporting the issues you have encountered whilst playing on laptop with a DualSense controller.

This controller is supported by the game on PC/laptop, but we ask players to use the controller with a USB wire to avoid any issues, you can read more about this in our supported peripherals guide >

Hello friend, thanks for posting. The camera design and view, that appears slightly to the side of Eivor is by design, compared to previous entries where the camera would be centered behind the main character. This new off-centre camera angle/view, is intended by design and not a bug.

Hello HIDDEN1NE, thank you for answering those for us.

We know this issue with Opals has been reported before which players experienced on the Ireland map, but now we understand it can affect other places on the Atlas too. For some players, it can be a synchronization issue and the opals can appear in the inventory after 24 hours, after a delay to synchronize this information with our server, with the Opals being a type of currency.

I will pass your answers along to the team investigating these missing Opals, thank you for your help with this.

Hello everyone, thanks for letting us know of your experience with collecting shards in 'Counting Sheep'.

We understand that this mission can bug or appear bugged for some players, who are unable to interact with the shard, or where the shard may remain on the map after collection. We are planning a fix in an upcoming update for this particular issue. We will do our best to update you in the forum when we know more. Hello threeducks1994 thanks for reporting this crashing issue with the Atlas you have encountered, I am sorry to hear the issue occurs when trying to return from Ireland.

How many quests have you completed in Ireland so far and does the crash with the Atlas still occur, after completing a few more main Ireland missions?

Can I also ask you what your current recorded play-through time is, so we can check how many hours you have played and how much memory you have installed in your computer?

This support article contains some of the most common fixes for crashes and it covers permissions, hardware, software, and corrupt files, that could potentially cause this. Please run through ay steps listed you have yet to try. Should these steps not resolve this issue for you, it will at least help us rule out a few potential causes of this issue. >

Hello Thamhuz, thank you for your post.

I am sorry to see you are disappointed that you may have experienced certain bugs within Valhalla during your playthrough. As well as a 'Known Issue's' list of bugs and updates that address them available in our News and Announcements and Player Support section, we also have the 'Reported Issues' list that catalogs any issues brought to our attention from forum players.

This forum and game was the first to trial this out and has seen much success and interaction from players when reporting various issues they encountered with the game. I apologize if some particular issues are taking longer to fix than others.

If you need any help with any one particular issue listed, please reach out to us in one of those threads we call 'megathreads' so we can investigate further and gather info when needed.

Hello demon_degen_x thanks for getting in touch with us about this challenge.

The Viking for Hire connect challenge should unlock when you have completed 10 contracts for the Thousand Eye's merchants/Reda. We understand that this challenge was previously bugged, but fixed later in an update to the game.

If you are still encountering this issue now, can you make sure your game is fully updated to the 1.4.2 update, then link us to a video showing that >

  1. The quest has already been completed in your journal menu,
  2. The challenge is still locked for you in Ubisoft Connect overlay
  3. The game menu shows the current update 1.4.2


If you can provide a video that shows all these 3 details, I will happily reopen our investigation into this bug for you, thank you.

Hello everyone, if you would like to send us a video that shows your map set to toggle on and off in the settings, but the map quickly closing in-game, please try using the Xbox Gamebar on PC to record this.

With this clip we can open an investigation into this map and tab button not working as intended.
