Sorry to see you're finding some frustration with the default controls of the game.

I'm not really able to suggest any specific mods, but there is a feature in the game by default that will allow you to save specific spots on the map and return to them with a single button press. Not exactly what you're asking for, but it may help alleviate some frustration!

Can you either take a set of screenshots showing all of your stat bonuses from gear, or record a short video where you show each gear piece along with the fire rate of the guns you mentioned? You can use your console's media share feature to get the video or screenshots for us.

Verifying the game files may help with the issue as well, and the method you used for it is completely fine as verifying will replace any file the game absolutely needs to run that you deleted.
