This has been raised to the team however there are no further updates as of yet.

A proposed workaround is to proceed with the quest to see if the fragment appears again and if you're then able to collect it.

Thanks for reaching out, apologies for the delay!

Valve tests and verifies titles as supported on Steam Deck.

They've labelled Assassin's Creed: Valhalla as 'Playable' on the platform, meaning some additional configuration may be required to get the game to run.

We're limited in the guidance we can offer when it comes to the Steam Deck, however Valve do have a troubleshooting guide with some steps that may be able to assist you, available here.

If so, please try disabling this and trying again to see if you can steal the key.

May we please know if you're running the game through Ubisoft Connect itself or another platform such as Steam / Epic Games?

And do you have any other peripheral software installed (such as Logitech G-Hub)?

And if you check the Control Settings in-game is your controller detected?

Thanks for reaching out to us, I'm sorry to see you've had issues launching the game.

Just to better understand the issue though - what happens when you launch the game via Epic?

Are you directed to Ubisoft Connect to reinstall the game? Or are you taken to the Ubisoft Connect Store to rebuy the game?

Have you ensured you have the correct Ubisoft and Epic Games Accounts linked too?

Please could you confirm what platform you're now attempting to play the game on?

Is it the same PS5 console you were playing on originally?

Or have you moved from PS4 to PS5?

Please be aware that ownership doesn't transfer between platforms. So if you bought the game on PlayStation and wanted to play on Xbox or PC, you'd have to rebuy it.

As noted in the thread you've linked, have you attempted launching the game directly from the .exe file?

And ensuring EGS (if you're playing via there), Ubisoft Connect and the game have admin rights?

No - Season Pass content and expansions do not carry between platforms, so you'd have to rebuy them on PS5.
