This was a fix for the POI trigger issues breaking clear quests.

Pretty sure it's in the menu and when loading. When I'm testing things and in the menu a lot, my average FPS for that session can be above 2000. In the game I'm hitting closer to 140.

b323 is a stable candidate. Depends if it has any major bugs. Just played a few hours on it using my previous game and didn't see any new bugs.

This has nothing to do with dew collector farms. Make all you can afford and place them wherever you can. This has to do with screamers actually showing up at your base because you are doing things. If you want to move a forge farm down the street to avoid the activity, you can do that too. This is a zombie game and we do want you to interact with zombies in various ways while at your base (screamers, biome spawns, wandering hordes and horde night). I find all those ways to be fun, because I like killing zombies.

While they are filling any jars.

6 dew collectors would be 2 forges worth of heat. So far we have not seen an issue. The good news is, these are just our initial numbers and the game is still being balanced, so we can and will adjust as needed as we keep play testing.

Just like all the other crafting blocks that make things when they're busy doing stuff.

Heat map is a generic term for something that tracks activity. A dew collector generates the activity of 2 torches. All player activity would generally attract zombies. We could go as far and say, breathing, walking, touching and/or just plain old living attracts zombies. Anything you build could attract zombies as you touched it. Next we will be adding nylon gloves, so you don't get your smell on stuff...JK. There is no realism in much of this as we have no real zombies to base it on. Just fantasy and fun.

Are you running low or out of memory?

I mean if you look at the xml for a20, there was heat generation. Them not having it in a21 was incorrect.

Vulkan is still very much an experimental feature in our game and Unity. We will be updating to Unity 2022 LTS for A22, which should have better Vulkan and DX12 support as Unity does improve them each year.

It's fixed to say b323 now. I had just copied the line from the previous notes, and forgot to update it for the new version.

Activity heat != Temperature heat.

Activity heat is like a keyboard heatmap- A keyboard heat map shows how often a given key is being struck compared to others

Example:
https://www.bypeople.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/keyboard-characters-distribution-heatmap.png

It's referred to as 'heat' and 'temperature' because of the color coding used; ranging from cool blues to red hots for least to most activity, just like temperature is shown on the news/weather.

We recommend starting a new savegame with b323 for the best experience. We don't expect to break existing Experimental savegames with this build.
The mod slot change will not change existing items, it only applies to newly found items.

  1. Start Task manager and End task on either of these if running:
    7DaysToDie.exe
    7DaysToDie_EAC.exe
  2. Open the Steam Client
  3. Navigate to your Games Library
  4. Right-Click on 7 Days To Die in the left navigation bar.
  5. Click Properties
  6. Click on the Local Files Tab
  7. Click the "Browse Local Files" Button
-This will open a Windows Explorer Window. The next Steps Take Place in Windows Explorer
  8. In Windows Explorer, go up 1 Level so that you should now see the '7 Days Top Die' folder which is likely '\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\7 Days To Die'
  9. Delete the folder called "Mods" if it exists....

The first hit taken after a decent period of time out of an encounter should be injury free.

Beyond that first hit, the chances for injury rack up the more hits you take in succession. If you're not pausing to wait for a minute after each fight to loot or whatever, then you're basically carrying your injury chances from fight to fight and never letting it reset.

Armor also matters a LOT. No armor at all and you'll be taking injuries from what feels like every single hit, even plain padded armor which isn't hard to make makes it WAY better.

And, of course, Don't get hit to begin with and there won't be any injuries. :winter2019joyfultearsyul: Easier said than done, but if you're careful it's not impossible to clear even a T5 POI without getting hit more than a handful of times at most.
