Thanks for spotting this, can you post a screenshot of this bonus so that we may report it to the Anno team? This has occasionally happened before with bonuses being different than described, a picture of the bonus reward description should help give context to our Anno team. (Please make sure image size is under 2MB and 2000x2000 aspect ratio)

Hello BigJim35 thank you for your post. We try to answer all players within 1-2 weeks on the forums when possible.

Could you link me to the other threads you have created? Do they also refer to the same bugs in this thread or other ones entirely? Usually, for any bug reports, we ask players to post each one separately in a new thread, to address each issue one by one, so if you have done so, thank you.

Have you tried disabling the revealed map option altogether and do you still encounter some of these bugs related to the map and 'fog of war', just to be clear?

Hello tjarosik thank you for sharing your insight into this.

When you say your profiles were merged under one, this would be correct if say, you use one Ubisoft username to play the game, but create 2 separate custom campaigns. They should all be saved to this folder >
%userprofile%\Documents\Anno 1800\accounts\ [Long string of numbers]

Now that you were able to figure out where your other 'normal' custom games were saved, were you able to load them up by right-clicking on them and selecting to open with the Anno .exe game file?

If you were to right-click on these normal difficulty save files, did they have admin privileges set-up in their Properties menu, under the security tab?

Hello @Tini531 thank you for your post.

When you say your campaign has halted, what was the last quest you completed, was it called Banquet of Implications?

Are you able to travel to Sir Archibald's main island in the Old World and Enbesa and interact with his port to see if this prompts the Getting A Grip quest with him?

Do you have any side quests with this character that are unfinished other than Uniting the Isles?

Hello Apparentape thank you also for your reply and letting us know this affects your cargo ship.

When you encounter this, can I ask is does it occur on islands you have conquered from other AI players?

There is a workaround that can sometimes fix this by manually pausing and unpausing the trade routes, we do have a planned fix for this in a future update.

Hello wildtempest2021 thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

To try and resolve this quickly, I would first ask you to try lowering the in-game settings, and use DirectX11 in the menu, to see if this will stop the crash when using the Create Trade Route option.

Should that not fix the issue for you, please try all of the following steps one by one >

- Run all of the games .exe files as an administrator. Locate the .exe file, right-click on the file, select Properties, select the Compatability tab, select Run as administrator, select Apply then OK.

Hello everyone, thank you for posting about this.

We are aware of error messages with DirectX, if you have been affected by this, would you be able to screenshot the exact message you receive?

At the moment we know some players who have played the game for some time, who then go to start a new campaign may be greeted with this error, but knowing that this can also happen when the game is paused for a time, is something we can pass onto the team.

If anyone could provide a screenshot of this DirectX error code message, that would be grand.

Before I ask anyone for their system files I would like to ask you to >

1.Make sure not to overclock your system and run your system at stock values, disabling any overclocking software whilst playing
2.Swap between DirectX 11 and 12 in the game's settings, to test the stability of the game

Hello everyone, thank you for getting back to us about these crashes after upgrading your workforce to Artisans.

Could you please try switching in the game options between DirectX11 and DirectX12, before upgrading to Artisans, then try upgrading, to see if you are able to progress past the crash?

Could you also try lowering all of your in-game settings at this point, to reduce any strain on your system, to see if this helps bypass this crash too?

Thank you for reaching out!

An Orchard is indeed required in the New World to be able to produce Cinnamon.

The Orchard is available in Tourist Season and High Life, so if you have the High Life DLC, you'll be alright, otherwise one of them will be required to continue.
