Thanks for taking the time to share this experience with others.
You're 100% correct. Contacting the Terms of Service (ToS) team is only advisable if you believe the ban was added by mistake/no rules were broken. There is no purpose reaching out to the ToS team aside from that as they will not overturn bans if the rules were broken and creating appeals for legitimate bans adds more to the queue and causes the wait times to spike.

What a dogshit rank designer philosphy. I've been checking his twitter and other devs and they are nearly all proudly hardstuck gold. No wonder they have no idea how to improve ranked. FFS please just listen to PVPX and Sweet to make Ranked mean something.

It honestly sucks that often times it seems the only way to reverse a ban is to make a reddit post and hope to gain traction, but it is undoubtedly better than screaming into the abyss and knowing nobody will help you.

Would like to escalate this with the managers of these teams. It's clear to me and pretty much everyone else what you're saying. I want to make sure that your suspension is reverted, find out how this was flagged, why it was reviewed and up held, and to make sure it wouldn't be in the future.

Hmm, if you take multiple ray casts from point of landing downward and average there normals then it shouldn't result in landing in weird angles based on the ground geometry being not perfectly flat, but should still angle correctly if intentionally thrown at a slanted wall.
That's basically how it worked, but in practice although the section of rock you threw it at was about 45 degrees the resultant angled elevator was just less fun and useful than a quick and reliable tool to get up.
In all seriousness, is there any chance you have footage of it that you can share? I'd imagine it'd be quite a laugh.
No footage to share but if you can imagine the gravity lift in the game pointing in the direction "up" from the surface it's thrown against you'd get the idea. It didn't launch you but hold and push you in low gravity in the direction of the lift towards the end.
What about her ult though? Maybe it's just me but it feels a little too easy to walk out of it considering its an ult.
The ultimate definitely rides a fine line. Imposing movement restrictions on players is a powerful thing in Apex. Too much and it can be really powerful and really frustrating for victims. I don't think it's too overpowered now, but with good planning and the right timing, it can be devastating.

We tried this! It was crazy! And unpredictable! And... Not that fun with how varied our maps and terrain are.
