Thanks for getting back to us.

Just to fully understand your setup here - did you purchase the game via Ubisoft Connect, then use the installation files from a friends PC rather than installing the game from Ubisoft Connect yourself?

If this is the case, the game will potentially be looking for a Steam version to verify ownership, as you don't own this, it's triggering the client to request a key.

We advise installing the game via the client yourself if you haven't done so already.

Therefore, in order to investigate this situation further for you, can you please attach an image of the proof of purchase of the game in that support ticket? 😊

Languages available in games can vary by version and region. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to override what’s available but you shouldn’t have any trouble adding another copy to your Ubisoft account as long as it was the Ubisoft Connect version.

I would just make sure you’re double checking to make sure the version you’re purchasing has your preferred language and completely uninstalling the Steam version before launching the new one. I'm sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused you.

Hi @GoldenEagle_222 if your Steam account is linked to your Ubisoft account then the game should have registered to your Ubisoft account and you should not be prompted for an activation code.
