I've confirmed with the team that there should not be any restrictions on what Recon Vapor works on and it should reveal all Archaeans.

Could you let me know what types of Archaeans you've noticed this happening with other than Smasher?

I'm really sorry to hear about this. Are you experiencing any particular error messages at all when the game crashes? For you to have been banned for 4 days it sounds like this might have been happening for you quite often. Unfortunately with regards to temporary bans we're not able to lift those as they're implemented server side but we will absolutely do our best to help you out with the crashing and try to prevent this from happening as much as we possibly can.

To assist with their investigation can you confirm with regards to the above video do you know whether yourself or other teammates did anything to or attacked the Tormentor in a certain way that caused it to get stuck that you noticed?

You also mentioned you've encountered this mission on another occasion, was this on the same place on the map or was it a different location?

If anyone is still experiencing this particular error code would you be able to confirm how often this is happening for you? Did you experience issues with any other Ubisoft services at the same time as this error? Have you been experiencing any other network issues and if you are able to capture a disconnection with this error code on video we would greatly appreciate it if you could send us a link to it.
