Hello everyone!

We are unable to remove or reduce temporary sanctions I'm afraid. Rainbow Six Siege is currently unable to determine which disconnections are intended, therefore it can lead to an abandonment penalty if the match is not reconnected to.


@walkerrmay I appreciate you sending some feedback about the canceling system. It is quite new so perhaps it can be improved, I'll forward your feedback to the team!

Hello! Yes, we will do everything we can to figure this out.

- Can you please list the hardware in your PC?
- Which monitor are you using?
- What is your average FPS before it takes a sudden plummit?
- Did you happen to notice if your CPU or GPU usage went very high when the issue occurred? Task manager or a similar alternative may help with that

Hello everyone!

We have seen some reports of this issue and I hope to provide you with some new information.

Some players have reported they are now able to link their accounts. If not however, I have 2 possible workarounds -

1. The new Terms of Use have not yet been accepted. Once done, that may resolve your issue
2. We can use the Ubisoft Club website to link your account

Here we go -

1. Go to the Ubisoft Club website: https://club.ubisoft.com/ and make sure you're signed out
2. Click to Sign in
3. Select the Xbox icon and sign in with your Xbox account details

Hello! I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with storage space, I can try to help you with this.

There are a few places I can think of where those old game files may be. Here we go -

- C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\download\
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege\
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege\download\cache\

Try to check the size of these folders to see if they're larger than expected. The cache folders are usually empty or small, and the Rainbow Six Siege folder should be the size of one installation.

I have some questions to help me understand the behaviour you are experiencing -

- When this happens, does the whole game crash or does it simply return you to the main menu?
- Do you receive any error messages?
- Are you able to rejoin to the match?
- How long has this been affecting you for?
- Have you tried any troubleshooting?

Hey! I'm sorry to read you recently received an abandonment penalty.

Rainbow Six Siege will implement these sanctions for all disconnections, as it's currently unable to differentiate between an intentional and unintentional disconnection.

We've identified the cause for the antivirus issue causing the game to crash or fail to launch.Keep an eye on the forums and on the Siege twitter account for updates, as soon as we can confirm a date/time for a patch going live we'll do so. I can appreciate wanting to transfer content between platforms, as it takes time to accumulate weapon skins and operators. However, we currently have no cross-platform functionality in Rainbow Six Siege and it is not possible to transfer content between platforms at this time.

Hey!

What kind of mic/headset are you using?

Do you have anything running in the background, software wise like a anti-virus, game overlay or overclocking software that might be interfering?

We've had problems lately with anti-virus that meant users had to whitelist their game launcher and Rainbow Six in the program, as it was causing odd behaviour.
