Could you advise whether your game completely shuts down or do you still see it running in the background via Task Manager?

In the meantime, taking into consideration that you have already tried a number of steps, can I ask you to try completing the remaining steps outlined in the following article and see if issue persists.

As it stands, if you did not receive any Twitch notification despite watching for reward qualifying period of time, this will be caused by either:

1. Not fully completing Twitch Drop registration process
2. Not viewing the event for qualifying time

As it stands, I can confirm that we have received multiple player contacts about the exact same problem and our development team is already looking into it.

In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, you can try purchasing your credits through Ubisoft Connect launcher (Store tab) or alternatively, visit our online store.

Was that the first time you've encountered something like this or did you run into players who have been intentionally doing this before too? Also, I understand that if the opposing team player does leave, it will have to be the one who finished last, is that right?

Also, by saying that this has happened to you and your friends, do you mean that they were part of the same game? Also, do you recall what time roughly did this game took place?
