If you have purchased R6: Siege through Steam, when you launched the game for the first time, you were asked to link your Steam and Ubisoft accounts, therefore depending on which Ubisoft account you were logged into at the time, that is where your Rainbow Six: Siege game will be located and that is where you will also be able to access Rainbow Six: Siege. Hey chilling.matrix, thanks for getting in touch, welcome to forums and apologies about the delay in getting back to you.

If I understand correctly, you're asking whether you can change the location of your game files to another location whilst having the game installed through Epic Games Launcher.

If this was to be Ubisoft Connect launcher, you can just simply change the install path by using the Game Install Location and it will work fine, however as far as Epic Games Launcher goes, it's something that we do not have information on and you will need to refer to Epic Games Support instead.

Apologies about the confusion however I was not sure whether it's in relation to this Ubisoft account that you have posted from or whether it's another Ubisoft account to which you have your Steam and Rainbow Six: Siege linked.

If it is in relation to another account, then we will need to take a look, however if it's for this one, then you do not have Test Server at the moment and it would need adding, however there does not appear to be any Steam account linked right now.

If you are attempting to access the server whilst it's not available, this will result in the message you've received. I've had a look at your account and can see that you have it in your library therefore as soon as it's live, you will be able to access it without any issues.

Can I just double-check whether you've been possibly attempting to access Test Server rather than the actual game?

If you are being asked for activation key when launching the main game instead, try verifying your game files and see whether that helps.

Hey HizirReis1041, thanks for getting in touch, welcome to forums and I am sorry to hear about the issue you ran into.

There are couple things you may try to resolve this:

1. First, check to see if your GameSettings.ini file is not set to 'Read-Only' (by default located in C:\Users\CurrentUser\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\)

2. If that doesn't help, you may try getting a new save file to see if it helps to resolve this

- Make sure Ubisoft Connect is exited out, which can include exiting from your system tray if you opted to have Ubisoft Connect run in the background when pressing the window X
-Go to the save game folder below and delete it after making a backup:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\635 (Uplay)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\1843 (Steam)

-Open Uplay as administrator, then disable the overlay and cloud save

As it stands, if you are using the same network and are unable to connect, this will most likely be due to your NAT type, therefore in order to resolve the issue, try completing steps outlined in the following article and see if issue persists.

I've had a closer look at your account and it appears that your Test Server is already on the account, therefore as soon as the server is live, you should be able to locate it in your games library .

Hey tarkhuna, thanks for getting in touch and I am sorry to hear you're having this issue.

As it stands, your in-game settings are tied to your Ubisoft Account and not the computer, therefore I would advise you to ensure that you have the exact same settings on both accounts and issue should no longer persist.

You will be able to locate your GameSettings.ini file in your Documents (C:\Users\CurrentUser\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\) and you can check both files for both of your accounts which will allow you to also see if settings match.

If that doesn't solve the issue, try deleting your GameSettings.ini for both accounts.
