Hey SaltySven, thanks for getting back to us.

The QA team wanted to thank you for your report and bringing this issue to our knowledge. We have informed the Siege tem of this also, other than that I have no news to share of as an when this skin may be patched on the game, but if I hear anything back soon, I will do my best to update you.

No problem, thanks for letting us know, I would still give the troubleshooting a go, we can also check for other things after trying thr troubleshooting such as double nat and flushing your DNS but the troubleshooting guide should contain the most common fixes as well as a port forwarding guide for your router.

Hello The_Mocker, thanks for getting in touch with us about this.

Does this only happen with our Siege game or have you noticed this with any other online games with large player bases that you have tried to play at night?

It sounds as though your ISP provider could be restricting your bandwidth at certain times of the day to allow other customers to be able to get online too. Are you able to query this with your ISP as this is a common occurrence.

Hello Santiiju, just a quick update -

At the moment we are aware of a few players being unable to activate 2FA on their account in order to play rank. We are investigating this now and will update you when we know it has been resolved, thank you for your patience!

Ah no worries RealityIsHarsh_, thanks for getting back to us.

With this new information you have told me I would also recommend deleting your save profile and config to see if this can reset your settings in game, in case this is caused by the game itself and not an external factor.

The config files for the game are located here by default -
C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\\GameSettings.ini​​

Deleting this will reset your in game settings and when you relaunch the game, they will be set to default.

Your profiles for customization options are usually located in these locations -
Uplay PC: - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\635​​
Steam PC: - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\1843

I would make a copy of your profile elsewhere on your desktop first, then delete this to see if this also fixes this keybind/controller issue in game.

There are a few thing you can do to help resolve this issue. One of the best first steps to try, is to verify your game files. If there are any missing files or corrupted game files or supporting software, verifying the games files should fix them.

Have you been able to give the following troubleshooting posted above a go?

I can see you have now been able to link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account.

There seems to be fewer reports of this issue occurring now and believe this has been fixed for most players.

Hello JHVL2015, sorry to hear about your disconnection and crash on Xbox.

Did you get any particular error code before or after this crash happened you can tell us about so we can see what may have caused this?

Hello Im_not_IUfanboy, thanks for your post.

As far as I have checked on my own copy, if you have the Audio set to English for Spoken Language and Subtitles and Interface options, you should have the option in Accessibility for Chat Assistance and Hints which you can turn off, but no other options.

I can see this is the same options that you available and what you have setup currently.

What device are you using in game as a microphone at the moment and what happens when you speak, do you see an icon appear in game or for any other players on the leaderboard?

We have tried to recreate this issue on our side, but the game seemingly loads as normal when accessing the Winter Campaign tracks and other game modes. Whilst I understand that this issue is affecting other players also, I would like you to try some internet connectivity troubleshooting, such as forwarding your ports on your router to our Trackmania server to see if this is able to help your game load any quicker and connect.

Hello MIGHTY457197, thank you for following our troubleshooting guide for crashes and other issues.

I am not sure what steps you have followed on google, but I would also like to suggest trying the following specifically for crashes on launch -

Try a System File Check (SFC) for any corrupted system files and a CHKDSK for any corrupted hard drives

- Press the Windows Key + S
- Search for Command Prompt and right click on it and run as administrator
- Type the following command as it appears sfc/scannow
- Press Enter and wait for the program to check system files, this might take a little while
- After completion close the program and try to launch the game

You can also try checking for a corrupted hard drive -

- Press the Windows Key + S
- Search for CMD (Command Prompt) and right click and open as administrator

Hi Mairexgodz, yes this has been under investigation as well as other synching issues across the servers, as the sometimes the information is delayed between the player side and the server.

This is something the Siege team are continuing to look at and improve, as it can affect players in different ways such as penalties being given later on after disconnections, renown or MMR being rewarded later or purchases failing after taking to long to go through all because of synchronization issues from the players side to our servers.

We can not say for certain when these issues will be fixed or give an exact date, but they are being looked into currently, to improve everyone's experience.

Hello LexSips, thanks for posting about this.

I believe your issue is slightly different to the one posted here so I will move this out of the thread.

If you are unable to purchase any item in the game and receive a 'Transaction Failed' message, this has been affecting players for the past few days and we are getting in more reports now.
