Try deleting the Origin client and re-download the latest version here: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download

 

Right-click on the game before you launch it and select "Repair."

 

Try rebooting your network. If you're familiar with port forwarding we have the port numbers listed for Apex Legends below. Try rebooting the network first though to see if a simple refresh of the connection addresses this.

I know the part that you are referring to @chicozeb.

 

I tested it last night on my Xbox and had no issues. It's an odd one as it's such a small issue that's more annoying then anything else.

Hey all, sorry to hear that you are having issues but if the game is not crashing and you are just being kick offline then would you all mind taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

 

It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.

I tested it last night and it worked fine so it would seem to be something on your end @chicozeb.


Honestly, it's such a small issue that I wouldn't even bother recommending most of the troubleshooting steps. 

 

If you want to try and get it fixed I can grab some steps for you but as long as it's not bothering you I'd suggest leaving it as it is.

Most people seeing this are able to fix it by changing their DNS settings to Googles DNS setting @mdn_realdeal.

 

The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

  • 8.8.8.8
  • 8.8.4.4

The Google Public DNS IPv6 addresses are as follows:

  • 2001:4860:4860::8888
  • 2001:4860:4860::8844

Let me know if they make a difference.

I've not noticed that myself @chicozeb.

 

It may be an issue with your audio settings, best thing to do is ensure that your console and in-game audio settings reflect your audio set up. For example, if you are playing back sound from your TV ensure that you do not have surround sound set.
