Hello everyone!

I'm sorry to read some of you are still unable to play. The error seems to suggest either the game is not fully installed, so that should be our primary focus point.

PS4/PS5 players -

Can you please check the Situations section to see how many are available to play? The amount of available situations is usually a good indication of how much of the game has installed.

I also recommend double checking system storage, to ensure there's enough space for the game to install.

Finally, try launching the game from another profile if you have one available to you.


@TW-saychell1224 - It's not possible for us to refund the booster I'm afraid. We are only able to refund boosters if there's been a large outage, as that confirms an issue on our side.

Hello! Sorry to hear your FPS is now much lower, I will do my best to help you.

We don't appear to have any known FPS issues since Operation Crimson Heist, so we may be able to find another cause for this issue.

To start, I'd like to ask some questions -

- What is the name of the laptop you're using?
- What CPU, graphics card and how much RAM do you have installed?
- Using Task Manager or similar software, can you see if your CPU or GPU are at 100% usage when playing? Does changing your graphics settings change this usage?
- What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I believe that actually to be the issue. We found an issue in-game with aspect ratio 32:9 and above; it was thought to be resolved however our team found the issue persists. Please leave this with us, we're working to get this fixed

Hello to you both!

We are certainly still here, I'm sorry we're coming back after a bit of a delay

From your descriptions it's currently difficult to tell whether this is a bug; it certainly may be however we've not yet had enough data to understand it.

We may be able to review your save file. Before we pursue that option, would it be possible to provide a video to present the issue? Perhaps we can see the reason for the defeat there.

When you boot up siege and get onto a match connect your controller and press a few buttons or walk around. You have to wait until siege fully registered the controller, then just unplug/disconnect the controller and it should go back to pc controls for the whole game session. It will go back to controller once you close and reopen siege but hey its better than just not playing siege.

Hello again, apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

I have looked into this for you and found Voice to Text Chat was temporarily removed as of Y6S1. For that reason it is not possible to access Text Chat at all for the time being for console users; I tested it myself and I too am unable to access the chat.

We'll let players know through the patch notes whether this feature is reintroduced.

I'm sorry to hear you're also missing MMR. We are not aware of any issues with elo acquisition as this time, therefore it's difficult to say what may have happened.

- As suggested above, did you try restarting your game to check if it was just a visual issue?
- Did anything unusual happen after completing the match?

Apologies for not coming back to you sooner, I will do my best to offer you some suggestions.

First of all for any crashing issues, we recommend following our main support article: https://support.ubisoft.com/Article/000061047

There is also the option to play with the DX11 or DX12 API; so it's worth trying them both to see if your issue improves.

If you are unable to edit your API in-game, you can change it through the config file as Luckson777 suggested. It is located here: %userprofile%\Documents\Anno 1800\config\engine.ini

Finally if that doesn't work, try deleting the engine.ini config file and try again.
