Hey there @KT247

If you own a disc copy of the game, you will always need to use the disc in order to start the game. The reason for this is that your ownership is tied to the physical disc.

If you would like to play the game without a disc, you do have the option of buying a separate digital copy.

The issue you are describing might match something we're investigating currently, where having a certain mission as an option that is near the Countdown mission.

Have you fully completed the Anderson manhunt, or reset your progress in it? If you open your map, and don't change to view the entire map, are you able to move your viewpoint close to the upper right hand corner of the full map?

If you walk to near that part of the map, are you able to open your local map at all?

Hello everyone, I just wanted to check in to let you all know that we're still investigating these issues, but we have not heard back from the Team on anything just yet.

And to clarify, the issues we have reported right now are as follows:

  1. Donating Oh Carol does not increase expertise.
  2. The talent for Oh Carol can be extracted.
  3. Recalibration is not possible for the Oh Carol.
  4. The scope for the Oh Carol does not trigger Focus.


Once we hear back on these issues, a support team member should be updating this thread to keep you all in the loop!
