I understand the confusion around this. Players who disconnect during a mission in Rainbow Six Extraction will be penalized but not lose progress. Players who voluntarily abandon a mission in progress will lose progress, xp, and receive a penalty.

@brukkie1 Hey! Thank you for getting in touch, are you referring to the VR Training tutorial mode as this is just a part of the game and does not need a VR headset.

The first VR Training mission teaches you the basics of the game, including how to destroy nests and rescue MIA Operators.
