After having a closer look at our server information, it appears that there have been no degradation at the time of your contact and it was running as intended, therefore could you clarify whether you were able to connect to the game after this one was finalised, or were you prevented from doing so?

Also, as this may be another cause of the issue, do you possibly have a screenshot of the scoreboard and able to tell the time this game happened? This information would help us to review the possibility of DDoS.

To correct this situation, I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Please, navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher cache folder, by default located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache
Do note, that the Uplay client must be fully shut down at this point and not running in the background.
Open the cache folder and move the "ownership" folder to a safe location.
Once you have backed up that folder, delete the "cache" folder.
After deleting the cache folder, please verify the game files within Epic:
- Open Epic
- Navigate to the game in your Library and click the cog icon.
-click the Verify button once the drop down menu appears.
- After verification, the launch option appears again.

If you do ever encounter similar activity in the future, can you let us know the usernames of the players involved and also, if possibly, either a video footage showing this or a screenshot of the scoreboard with the players involved would be beneficial, as we would then be able to forward the details to our game team, who could investigate the matter further. Please do note that it is also good if you can recall the exact time of the game, as it will aid us when reviewing the report.

Hey b1rdw1thgun,

Thanks for reaching out and I am sorry to hear about the issue you're dealing with.

Based on your description, I understand that your PC does not freeze when you launch Uplay PC however instead, will freeze when you launch either 'For Honor' or 'Rainbow Six: Siege', forcing you to restart your PC (do correct me if I'm wrong though).

Did you notice whether at any point it reaches 100% CPU usage? Also, could you advise us your specs?

I would certainly recommend you to simply re download it on Steam, in order to avoid any issues along the way, however if you would like to see whether you can make a shortcut, then I have seen players suggesting that the following workaround has helped:

1. First, copy all of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege folder to 'Steamapps' folder
2. Then, select Install the game in your Steam launcher and it may detect your existing files

Just to double-check so that I understand this correctly - you are referring to in-game invitation system and you're unable to join or invite any players with you.

Could you advise whether the same issue happens to your friend, with anyone who they invite/try to join, or is that something that is affecting mainly just you? Also, when you say you're unable to join friend's invite - could you clarify whether it comes through to you in the first place?
