Thanks for that information, HYPER_CL4P-TP! Do you experience long loading times in every match, or was it just this one time? Do you eventually load into the match or does the game kick you back to the main menu?

Hey there, TM-Linx0010! I'm extremely sorry to hear that Rainbow Six Siege crashed and you received an abandonment penalty as a result of this. I understand how frustrating this can be for players to encounter, especially when you did not mean to leave the match. However, this is all part of the penalty system put in place in the game and Support is not able to revert or overturn these penalties. My apologies for that! Nonetheless, I would still be happy to report the crash that happened. Does the game crash often for you? If so, how often do you experience these crashes?

Thank you so much for providing these videos, JayGuards!! For starters, please complete all the steps listed here to see if they resolve this problem. Then, if the steps in that guide do not help, please answer the following questions for me.

1. Does the game only crash during a match or does it crash in other parts of the game as well (main menu, on launch, etc.)?
2. Do you ever notice any error messages or codes?

Hello there, Primal_Equinox! I'm very sorry to hear that you've been having this problem with Rainbow Six Siege. I'm sure that having high ping and connecting to the wrong datacenter can be incredibly exhausting, and I do apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. Hi azipkey22a! An authentication error normally occurs when a user is signed into the incorrect Ubisoft account than the one the game is activated on. First, make sure you're signed into the Ubisoft account on which the game was activated. If you're still not having any luck, please reach out to our team at support.ubi.com with the following information!

1. Usernames you may have used in the past.
2. Any email addresses you own.
3. An image of your Ownership folder. You can locate this by navigating to the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership

Hey Fac.MWA! I'm very sorry to hear that Siege crashed and you received an abandonment penalty as a result. Any time that a player leaves a match for whatever reason, they receive a renown/rank penalty and a temporary ban. Support is not able to revert these penalties or restore lost ranked points, unfortunately. However, if these crashes happen often, can you let me know if you receive any error codes or messages?

Hi there, suqmu! Since you purchased Rainbow Six Siege through Steam, you should have direct entitlement -- meaning that you would not need a key for the game to be activated under your account. Is it Steam or Uplay asking you for the key?

Hi rumiG2G! I'm sorry that this has happened to your friend. I would recommend having him open a case himself at support.ubi.com. Support is not able to help recover accounts with anyone other than the account owner, so he will need to reach out to our team on his own.
