As ToS confirmed the timer is meant to be timed out, it's no longer about appealing a ban but about being able to get into the account. A change in the case categories is needed as the ban categories will only route you to ToS.

That second email looks like it's from ToS and not the support team. You'd need to connect with the support team. Did you select the same contact options?

I'm sorry, we won't know about your ban on Answers HQ. If you have an EA ban, go to My Ban History to view more info and you can dispute bans and suspensions from that page. EA will also notify you via email if they've applied a ban or suspension. Check your email inbox for more details.
