I'm really sorry to hear about this, I know this issue is frustrating. Sadly, it doesn't look like there's been an update from the team on this issue, but rest assured it has been reported and I'm getting your report forwarded to the team as well to help them look further into this. Please keep an eye on our official channels for updates on this issue!

For the time being though, you may want to try the following workaround as it has helped some players to bypass this issue.

  1. Call for backup
  2. Make the backup person the leader
  3. Ask that the new leader start the mission on story mode
  4. Complete mission as normal

Hey everyone!

I'm very sorry about the delay getting to this post, I see you all are having a rough time with this input delay/lag in game and I know how annoying that gets. @Tyranmedic, thank you for pointing out this happens on PS5 as well. I'm sorry you were given the wrong troubleshooting when you contacted, unfortunately that can happen if someone just misreads or grabs the wrong link.

However, since we're seeing this on a few platforms then and @Hastur-01 already mentioned some general troubleshooting completed didn't have an impact, I've gone ahead and reported this to the team to look into.
